This place is awful. Not one single physician of color and the one they had (Dr. Yao - Asian) left the practice last year. Dr. Yao was WONDERFUL. After I went through a divorce, my ex dropped our children from his medical insurance, my children had been patients there for more than 14 years. It took me several months to pay the almost $1000 dollar bill on my own and put the children on my insurance. After I showed proof of insurance and paid the bill, some old woman in the business office told me that my children were "dismissed" from the practice. Basically after 14 years they "fired" my children from the practice simply because I had difficulties paying a bill after my ex dropped them without my knowledge. I am certain the children were dropped because I am African American. I imagine this old business manager thought, "yep, heres another one of "those" folks who is going to have trouble paying . . . probably on welfare too!" I mean, who drops children like that from pediatric care after theyd been patients with no prior issue of paying. My children were very hurt and I had to explain how hateful and money hungry people often forget their duty to serve and care for people. My daughter, who wants to be a physician, vowed to never let money get in the way of her commitment to care for her patients. Not to mention, I paid and had medical insurance! Any medical facility who would let an office manager with a racist agenda determine who their patients are is NOT a place I want my children cared for ever!! The one star is for Dr. Yao - who is AWESOME - so glad she got outta there!

After 13 LONG LONG YEARS an billions of visits later, I can officially say that Delware Valley Peds. SUCK! The volume of patients they have makes you wait way longer than you have too. I am so over this. You come here for a Well/Sick visit and you literally have to block out your whole day for visit. Sometimes they say, having to much business will make you go out of business... Peace out DVP God bless the new moms that will have years of this Bullshit here.

After switching pediatricians a couple of times, we were referred to DVPA by a friend of mine. We have been taking our kids here since 2013 and honestly love it. We have Dr. Shapiro and hes great! Weve also seen Dr. Palsky, Dr. Lilienfeld and Elizabeth Leahy (as well as Dr. Yao when she was there) and all are equally wonderful.. The front desk staff is also amazing! Love this place, would recommend it to any and everybody.

SO happy we went with Delval and Dr. Shapiro. We have had wonderful service, the Drs have always been attentive and patient with all of us. Dr. Shapiro always remembers little things about my children from visit to visit. The only reason Im not able to give 4 stars is that there are one or two receptionists who have been a bit prickly.

Delaware Valley Pediatrics has wonderful doctors and staff! I can call and ask questions and they have no problem answering them. My sons doctor is so caring and asks us questions and answers our questions (if we have any). I would recommend them to anyone!
