I was both a patient when I was a child and a parent when I had my first son. When I was a child the doctor seemed very aloof and was in and out of the room very quickly. He was dismissive at that time and didnt seem to listen but at the time, I was a child and didnt really know better. I went to him for a period of about two years before my mother transferred me to her doctor; she never told me why. When my son was born I brought him to Dr. Borah, but after seeing him, memories from my childhood came rushing back. The wait time was terrible and I was left waiting with my two day old newborn in a dirty waiting room completely filled, standing room only, with very sick kids and parents. The office staff were rude and didnt know how to answer simple questions. It was my sons one month old check up that prompted me to remove him from the practice. He had a granuloma that the doctor was going to handle in office. I asked the doctor what that was and how he was going to treat it and I quote him as saying "Dont worry about it, you wouldnt understand". Not only is the unprofessional but unethical and outright disgusting to assume that because I am not an MD that I wouldnt understand or dont have a right to know how you are going to treat my child. I found another pediatrician and so happy with them, Ive never looked back.

Both my children went/go to Dr. Borah - one just turned 18 and the other one is 16 and has about 1.5 yrs left with him. After our first meeting with him and our newborn some 18 yrs ago, we had mixed emotions especially with the slight language difference, but having solid reviews from other family members & friends, we stuck with him - and we are so glad we did. Dr. Borah is an extremely smart doctor and has proven himself time & again for us over the last 18 years. You cant replace his many, many years of medical experience dealing with children. You may not get the "warm fuzzy" good friend feeling when communicating with him personally, but knowing your child is getting the best possible medical care is what really matters. If you want someone whos perfectly fluent in the Kings English, then Dr. Borah is not for you. If you want an experienced medical professional who has some 25+ years of successful pediatric care under his belt, then hes your guy.

HE IS THE BIGGEST DICK IVE EVER MEANT. I COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS SAYING AND I SAID SEVERAL TIMES IM SORRY I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOURE SAYING AND HE SAID RUDLEY IM ASKING A SIMPLE ENGLISH QUESTION WHEN ITS CLEAR HES NOT AMERICAN SO HE DOESNT SPEAK AS WELL OF ENGLISH I DIDNT APPRECIATE HOW I WAS SPOKEN TO AND TREATED. HE WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND TOLD ME LEAVE WITHOUT SEEING WHAT WAS WRONG ALL FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT I COULDNT UNDERSTAND HIM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS MANNER. AND THAT 1 STAR UP THERE WAS MY ONLY OPTION OR HE WOULDNT GET ANY! I WILL BE TAKING MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS AND FINDING MYSELF A PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR!!!

i only selected this doctor because her father saw him as a child... it is HORRIBLE, the receptionist is so rude, she hates her job, you cant understand a word the doctor says, and if you say excuse me or if he can repeat that, he gets mad. I finally switched doctors, and I would not recommend him to ANYONE!
