This place should be out out of business. The women who work there are rude, miserable, and have no clue what it means to be polite. First of all, this is a CHILDRENS doctors office. It should be a pleasant environment with a cheerful atmosphere. When I walk in here, I feel like I am bothering the clerks. They look at one-another as if to say "Who wants this one?" Hello!!!! This is your job. You work for US! No "Hi, How are you?" Nothing. Take a seat and the Doctor will be with you "shortly". I dont think I have ever been in that office for any shorter than an hour EVERYTIME. Appointment and all. Then they have the nerve to post a sign : If you are later than 15 minutes you will have to reschedule. I guess our time is not as valuable as theirs. Its perfectly fine for me to sit in the waiting room --with a 2 year old child nonetheless-- for 45 minutes and be expected not to be aggravated by the time I am called back. Weighed, measured, temperature.... have a nice day. See you next year when we can fit you in 2 months past your yearly because we are overbooked and understaffed. I have changed Doctors, and I would advise anyone who would like great service for their babies to do the same.

I should be able to schedule a sick visit the same day. Waiting 4-5 hours for a return call is not acceptable from a pediatrician. Saturday hours, but I am told they dont schedule well visits then, no flu shots then, and no sick visits. Sooooo, what do you do on Saturdays? I should be able to schedule a well child visit with less than 4 months notice -- seriously. A flu shot should not be scheduled in September for a December visit. I should wait less than an hour in the waiting room and exam room combined. I love the doctors and nurses, but they are so beyond over scheduled that it is just not worth it. And the call center is just a giant waste of time. Messages are returned HOURS later, if at all. Find a smaller practice.

This is the only place I will ever take my Son. Yes, its busy, but they ALWAYS take time to answer our questions. The doctors are always happy and cheerful. They have a 24 hours staffed phone line - and folks, this is CHOP, not some rinky-dink medical practice. These doctors are the best in the business. The medical records are electronic, and if you go to another office, or CHOP in Philly, your childs data, is right there, on the screen. Everyone is on the same page. Sure, the staff can get a little touchy at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, but if you dealt with sick kids all day, it might start you wear you down a little too..

this is the worst pediatrician i have ever taken my kids too. they dont have anyone to answer the phone, you HAVE to leave a mesage for the triage nurse if your kids are sick, if you are lucky they will call you back maybe 4 hrs later. half of the time i was so sick of waiting for them to call i would take my kids to the hospital. the staff is just plain RUDE. the drs are in and out in 5 minutes. they didnt catch my 5 week olds ear infection until his ear drum finally bursted. this is a "fast food" chain for drs and i do NOT recommend them at all.

I have not had any complaints about Kids First... they have great doctors, answer questions and give great advice. The only problem that I have had is trying to schedule a particular doctor even with ample time (over 1 month). We have seen four of the doctors, so even if I cant get my favorite (Dr. Haas), I love Dr. Creecey, Dr. Bernstein, and Dr. Hummel. Worth it.

Our first child is 5 months old and we have been going here since he was born. Weve met with several of the doctors and have been very pleased. Sometimes there are difficulties getting appointments with our doctor of choice, we we have still been very pleased.
