As the owner of 3 dogs I can tell you that Dr. Earl and his staff are top notch. When my one dog needed emergency care Dr. Earl performed surgery on him that night till11 pm. He is the kindest most compassionate doctor as well as skilled and knoweledgable. They will always provide you with an estimate, all you need to do is ask. No surprises, no hidden costs. Tonight with one of my other dogs it was a sprain but she was treated with the same level of care. Reasonable rates, explains all options. The staff does everything they can to meet your needs, accomodate your pet and answer all questions. Simply the best.

Brought (2) dogs in for vaccinations. $800.00 bill for both dogs. Left feeling shell shocked over bill as I was not warned of the cost. Get home, dogs head blows up like a balloon, allergic reaction to vaccine. Couldnt get anyone on the phone to help me. I gave the dog benadryl and it is ok now. Spoke with doctor and I complained. He told me, "we can only be available when we can be available". Guess what, we run a small business too, we are there when our customers need us all the time. I will not be going back to this facility with my (2) dogs.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Earl and the staff at Long Valley Animal Hospital. He proved himself to be knowledgeable and caring. He saw my aging 15 year old cat for the first time when I brought her there in an emergency situation. He brought her back from that and is now treating her for chronic conditions that older cats frequently acquire. He keeps me in the loop and carefully explains treatment options. My timid 15 year old cat appreciates his gentle "bedside manner".

We are very happy with Dr. Earl and the staff at Long Valley Animal Hospital. I have a large Akita and Dr. Earl is very good with him...including doing his shots and examination while the dog lays on the floor of the exam room instead of trying to get this big dog up on the table;-) They listen to what you have to say about your animal and will work with you...not talk at you. We feel very confident that our pet is receiving excellent care with LVAH.

Long Valley Animal Hospital has taken unbelievable care for our black lab, Webster. Knowing that Dr. Earl and the rest of the team are there to comfort us when our best friend isnt feeling well goes above and beyond expectations. They never over-diagnose, always provide excellent preventative care, and are exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend Long Valley Animal Hospital to anyone who is looking for top care for their furry child.

Was on vacation visiting family in the area, and my dog was showing odd symptoms. Brought him in and was seen quickly. Dr. Russell assured us everything was OK, and gave us some medication that help tremendously. Service was great, and Dr. was professional and comforting (my daughter was with me). Loved that they saw us on such short notice. I would definitely recommended Long Valley Animal Hospital!!!! Thanks for saving our trip!

Dr. Earl is a wonderful vet. He is very thorough and thoughtful. When our dog was sick, we brought her into our previous vet multiple times, and she had no idea what was wrong. When Dr. Earl was covering for her, he immediately figured out what was wrong (and it was serious). Now we bring my cat to him, and he is just great at explaining exactly what hes doing and what the results mean. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am a pet sitter and this vet is right down the street from my best clients house. Anytime there has been a problem with her animals I have taken them here. Theyre always accommodating but it is a smaller place so they dont have a big staff. But whenever I have gone in there im usually taken right away and it never seems overly crowded. If you live in the area I would recommend this vet.

Dr. Earl and his staff are not only welcoming, but genuine, compassionate, helpful and on point. You are not a number there the Dr. really knows your pet. Both Ginger Watts,DVM, and Russell Earl, DVM have treated my Flat Coat,Jenny, for different issues, and could not be more pleased with how they examined and handled her. We had an urgent situation with a feral cat who needed to be euthanized. We showed up at their office the minute they opened and without hesitation they caringly got us into an office and handled things with comfort and tenderness.
