This is a tough review to write, because although I believe I received EXCELLENT care and compassion from the entire team at Millburn Veterinary Hospital, saying I Loved It is not an easy thing. Our 17 year old cat went from elderly-but-OK to dying in a matter of hours. We brought her in and were told that she had days left at the most. We brought her home to make our final, difficult decision about how to proceed. The next day, I called to inquire about euthansia and asked if they provided home visits. The answer was yes, so I scheduled one for the following day. The team that arrived were caring, compassionate, and so gentle with all of us. That team was an example of humanity at its finest. When I made my inquiry, I never once asked about the cost. When I got the bill I was stunned. I dont know how to say this without sounding crass, so hear it is: we expected a triple-digit bill and were stunned to find the charges were so reasonable. The best care at an affordable price - like I said, humanity at its finest. When the time comes to welcome another animal into our home, we will be back at Millburn Veterinary Hospital.

Having just moved to NJ and finding out our 11-year-old pug had bladder stones, we interviewed 4 vet surgeons to perform the surgery. Dr. DeSpirito was far and away the kindest, most competent vet we found. She said all the right things, explaining the 2 kinds of stones, our options for treatment, expressed real concern and care and spoke to us with respect while keeping things understandable. After the surgery it was a little scary because of all the blood and our pup got worse before he got better. I must have called Millburn 5 times and every time the staff and doctors were patient and helpful. They didnt think I was crazy or overly worried. All in all, Id say the entire staff here are absolutely wonderful. We drive 25 minutes to take our pups here and it is absolutely worth it for the level of care.

Great experience! My first time going to the vet with my 5 month old bunny to get him neutered and the staff was wonderful. The doctor is very helpful and the consultation was very educational and informative of the risks of anesthesia. The staff did a wonderful job of taking care of my bunny durning the entire process of fhe surgery. I was nervous about taking him to the suregery but i trusted the doctor and the vet staff and im VERY happy i did this. Bun -Bun is in full recovery and is doing well and is very happy

What a relief to visit such caring and knowledgeable veterinarians as pets and owner are sometimes nervous about the visits. The veterinarian and staff understand the meaning of words like "human" and "humane." My animals have been diagnosed and treated for a variety of problems quickly solved, and there are fewer problems with the preventive medical care provided. Im eternally grateful. I can relax knowing where there is help.

How good is this team? My dog LOVES going to the vet. He leaps out of the car and runs to the door, tail wagging. Its always easy to schedule an appointment, the techs are gentle and caring, and the veterinarians are first-rate. Im very happy I found them.
