Dr. Stack and Dr. Johnson are wonderful! A friend referred me to them for one of my older dogs who was suffering from incontinence, as I was not happy with the vets we had gone to before. I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable and understanding Dr. Johnson and Dr. Stark are, and very confident that even though the necessary surgery with an older dog was risky, they would do their best. Also, they knew I was anxious to address this problem as soon as possible, and they got me on the schedule for surgery the next day. I know they were booked, so I cant say enough about how much I appreciated that. Ive had a lot of dogs over the past 30 years and therefore have been to so many vets...this is the first time I really felt everything was in balance...they listen, they are intelligent and thoughtful, they are compassionate, and they dont overcharge needlessly...they are very fairly priced from my experience. And most importantly, they did a fabulous job on the surgery with a risky patient. My senior dog is doing well and I am so relieved! I recommend their office highly!!

We have had five cats and two large dogs in Dr. Stacks superb care for almost 15 years, and are grateful to have found such a competent, caring, and capable veterinarian. Never one to alarm, he tells you straight what the options are, and doesnt encourage unnecessary expenditures as many other vets do. He has spayed our female Rottweiler, done routine shots for our outdoor cat, and treated other cats for injuries. He saved the life of a four year old cat after being poisoned by tainted canned food. After doing blood tests, he showed us that the kidneys had shut down completely, and that four days after poisoning, the cat was near death, and then treated her as he could. She recovered fully. We found hundreds of reviews where other cats had died similarly from the same widespread brand, Nine Lives. Nine lives may not be enough for your cat if you feed it that brand. Dr. Stacks charges are reasonable too, he doesnt charge like his patients are people , as many other vets do in the area.

We cant praise the team at Valley Veterinary Hospital enough. When I brought our cat, Lulu, in to them this past June, I thought I would have to have her euthanized. She had crawled into the fan drum of my old El Camino. Not knowing she was there, starting the car severely mutilated her hind quarters. I rushed her immediately to Dr. Morkos and his team. It looked absolutely bleak! But as we waited for my wife and daughter to arrive, they stabalized her, gave her fluids and she looked determined to live. Long story short, through their skill, compassion, determination, incredible respect and regard to our needs and concerns, just when we thought Lulu wouldnt survive, let alone walk again, shes back home and thriving! Thank you, Dr. Morkos, Monica, Olga and Tony!! We will always be indebted to you!! Though Lulu will never go outside again, I will now always pound the hood of my El Camino before starting it up. Tough way to learn that lesson.

This is a wonderful - and somewhat unusual in the best possible way - practice. It has been our only veterinary practice for 20 years. It NEVER feels like a business. Rather, it reflects the reality that, first and foremost, Dr. Stack and his staff truly love animals. Although perfectly adequate, the office is not fancy at all, and we like it that way because we think that shows that this practice has its priorities in the right place. Over the years Dr; Stack has seen us through routine events, serious illnesses and the inevitable deaths of some of our beloved animals. In each case, he has been not only compassionate but very informative, answering our questions and addressing our concerns with patience and kindness. As medicine - for both people and animals - increasingly becomes big business - Valley Vet stands out as the kind of personalized care that everyone should have.

My lovely cat Sinbad became very ill during Fall of 2014. Took him to Dr. Stack and Dr. Johnson and was told he had cancer. Was given options on treatments. No hard sell. It was like family helping each other through a very crucial time. Everyone on staff was helpful and so sympatric. We were given many options but no guarantees. We did pills and shots which help for a short time. Again no hard sell on anything. When it came time for that last visit, the staff treated it with respect and a loving feeling as though they knew Sinbad for his entire life. They gave me private time with him to say a last good-by. No rushing no hurry up lets go. They all gave words of comforts. They treated my baby as though he was a real person which I will always be grateful for.

I absolutely love Drs. Johnson & Stack. We saw Dr. Johnson on 3/17 we went in for nail trimming for both dogs. The office records are so efficient that we learned my little girl needed all her shots overdue for some & one due next month. We got them all done in one visit. Dr. Johnson is so kind and Jodi the assistant was as well. Jodi held both of my dogs in such a comforting way that my little girl barely flinched getting her shots. My little boy can be difficult when getting any care but again Dr. Johnson was so efficient cutting his nails and Jodi was very comforting that there was very little stress. I appreciate the care my dogs get with everyone in the office and highly recommend this practice to all my friends and anyone looking for veterinary care.

Dr. Stacks and Dr. Johnson are two of the most compassionate veterinarians I have ever met. They spent close to an hour trying to determine why my cat was suddenly losing so much weight. They even did x rays to make sure there wasnt a tumor and they didnt even charge me! When I was leaving their office, there were at least 3 animal rescue groups there with animals who were being treated pro bono as well as a dog brought in by Animal Rescue that the vets agreed to treat, again pro bono. These vets are in the business for ALL the right reasons. I cannot say enough good things about these vets and I will take all of my pets there again and again. They are also very reasonably priced! After we received two of my moms cats, when she moved to assisted living last fall, I asked my daughter to poll her friends about which vet they used for their pets. Dr. Stack was the overwhelming favorite for cats, and came in second for dogs. Our cats have now seen both Dr. Stack and Dr. Morkos at Valley Veterinary Hospital. Both doctors have a gentle manner with the cats and are very compassionate. The rest of the staff are equally nice and obviously love animals. (I have been to veterinary clinics, in the past, where the staff did not love animals, but were just there for a paycheck.) The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Valley Veterinary Hospital to everyone.

We have been clients of Valley Vet for a number of years. Dr. Stack and Dr. Johnson and Valley Vet staff are professional, caring, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They truly care for our pets and we appreciate their recommendations for their care. We have two Wheaten terriers which can be quite expensive but Valley Vet is reasonable in vet care cost. They are always accommodating; it is easy to get appointments. We have had a few emergencies recently and they saw us right away. They are reasonable in their care and have referred us to specialists when needed. They show compassion and true love for our animals. I highly recommend them.
