I just visited Nutley Eye Care for the fourth year in a row. That should be enough said right there! Why would I go somewhere I dont like after the first time?!? The office is simple, clean and organized. I dont wear glasses, but there is a huge selection to choose from. I go to get my eye exam and contact lens evaluation every year. You have questions or concerns about your eye health? Dr. Joshua Goldschmidt will give you the answers. The receptionist promptly has your bill ready and insurance information all set by the time your appointment is over. At that time you can also make your next years appointment which has text message and email notifications. Dr. Joshua Goldschmidt is a nice guy! Thanks again for an easy, thorough and seamless experience!!!

My son (11 yrs) and daughter (9 yrs) are patients at Nutley Eye Care. This office is very professional and efficient. They boast all the latest technology to bring their patients the best eye care possible. Dr. Goldschmidt expresses excellence in his professionalism and knowledge. My son transitioned from eyeglasses to contact lenses and the doctor was very supportive and helpful. He was extremely patient with my son and made him feel comfortable during the learning process. They have many eyeglasses to choose from in the office. My daughter found a very cute pair that made her feel confident and mature. Thank you to the Dr. Goldschmidt and the staff at Nutley Eye Care for taking care of my children with respect and patience!

I found Nutley Eye Care through my insurance and was excited to find they are so close by. I had my first appointment this week, and was impressed by the follow up with texts and emails to confirm my appointment. I had a thorough exam, and when I mentioned some concerns I had about hereditary eye disease, Dr. Goldschmidt let me know about a screening test he offers. I was happy to have this test which helps to reassure me - and I am impressed that he is up on the latest technology. I also love that he was able to email me the report, and when I emailed him with a question, he emailed me back right away. Communication is so important. My whole family will be switching to Nutley Eye Care.

What I like most about Nutley Eye Care is the quickness of being seen. Unlike other Eye Care Centers, I was in and out in less then 1 hr, and this is a big plus especially since the eye appointment was for my 7 year old daughter and who tends to get bored easily. The prices for the frames are reasonable, and the doctor provide excellent services. One draw back was the receptionist, we were not greeted, and did not feel welcomed. Since I had my 3 year old son, who is not very quiet, I felt that she was annoyed. I would give them a 5 Star if I felt welcomed. Other then the slight drawback I would recommend Nutley Eye Care Center.

Appointment booking was very pleasant with the help of Serena, she was very forthcoming and helped me with all the back and forth with the insurance company about in-network/out-network checks. All through the initial process she was very patient in answering my questions. The doctor was very friendly, I liked him. I had some issues with my insurance requesting additional paper work for my medicines and they did everything without any fuss. Overall great experience! Oh and most importantly, I didnt have to fill up some 5 sheets of history about myself, I just walked in and saw the doctor. No wait time.

Never have I had such an enjoyable experience at an optometrist! I was seen by the doctor immediately--a nice surprise given the long waiting time I had become accustomed to at my previous eye doctor. Dr. Goldschmidt took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain the conditions affecting my eyes. I was impressed with his selection of frames and knowledge of what would fit correctly and look nice. I felt I could trust him to sell me nothing less than perfect! I have recommended Dr. Goldschmidt to my family and coworkers and everyone has given him rave reviews!

I went to Nutley Eye Care for the first time yesterday and I have to say one of the best eye doctors I have had! He genuinely seemed to care about not only my eyes but me as a person. I knew I would love this place instantly because the staff was amazing with rescheduling my appointment; it wasnt an inconvenience for them and although the receptionist was busy she still acknowledged me. Other doctors offices I have been to were rude and had overall poor customer service. I am even talking my grandmother into switching her doctor. Excellent people and environment!

I am a new patient of Dr. Goldschmidt. I read all the wonderful reviews online, which is why I chose this office. The office is so neat and clean and the staff was wonderful. I received a reminder email as well as a reminder text which is great. Dr. Goldschmidt was very knowledgeable and very patient as I called my previous eye doctor to find what brand contacts I have been using. He also has a sense of humor which I appreciate (: Overall it was a very good experience and I would absolutely recommend this office!

I had to get a new eye doctor since my old one no longer accepts my vision insurance, so I based my choice of Nutley Eye Care off of the many glowing reviews here. I must say I was not disappointed. The receptionist was extremely friendly and answered all of my preliminary questions very thoroughly. Dr Goldschmidt was also very friendly and did a very thorough exam. He was even nice enough to take my existing frames which were not purchased there and put new lenses in them. I am very happy that I found them!

I went to Nutley Eye Care as a new patient, as my former doctor retired and I wanted someone closer to home. The ability to schedule an appointment was easy, and they took the time to check my insurance coverage ahead before I got there. Dr. Goldschmidt is a pleasure to work with. He answered all my questions in a friendly manner and performed a thorough eye exam. The office setting itself was fresh, neat and clean. I recommend Nutley Eye Care and will return for my annual exam next year.

I love Nutley Eye Care! I didnt have to wait to be seen at all. Everyone is polite and helpful. The doctor has clear records of prior visits. The exam is thorough. The doctor answers all my questions. Nutley Eye Care is the ONLY office Ive been to that has frames that fit my face! I was able to pick an attractive frame in minutes. Dr. Goldschmidt always gives me his honest opinion about the attractiveness (or lack thereof) of various frames on me. Overall wonderful service.

Ernesto from Belleville said : Was already there for my eyes check-up, extremely sotisfied with Dr. Goldschmidt service, He did a thorough examination. When I broke my glasses the other day, I called in and even though Dr. G. was having a busy day with patients, He found the time to see me the same day and order new glasses. I would definetely recommend it.
