I have used Maple Eyecare a few times to purchase my sons lenses and glasses. The main reason I used them is because they are VSP providers and given his constantly changing prescription it was the most economical way. I do not use them for eye exams. Given my experiences purchases glasses and lenses there, I would never trust them with any medical exam or procedure. A couple of years ago, after getting new lenses, my son was complaining that he couldnt see out of his new glasses. After a couple of months of thinking his eyes just needed to adjust, I went in to see his regular eye dr. After looking at the new lenses provided by Maple eyecare he discovered that they had reversed the prescription on the lenses. My son totally couldnt see anything out of his one eye. When I went back into Maple eyecare, they were somewhat apologetic and made the correction. I decided to give them another chance. 2 1/2 weeks before my son was to leave for boyscout camp, I went in to purchase new rec specs and replace the lenses in his existing frames to match his new prescription. They were helpful and assured me they would be ready in a week to 10 days. 10 days later I had not heard from them. I called and there was no answer. I left a message and no one returned my call. I went in, and they had no idea where the glasses or lenses were, but told me they would look into it and call me back. I got no call back, so 2 days later (exactly 2 weeks after ordering the glasses) I called and again no answer. Again I left a message, and again I went in when no one returned my call. Turns out that they never ordered the lenses and now with my son leaving in 3 days, there is no way to get them by the time he leaves for camp. My son has to go to camp with old rec specs and even older prescription. He will not be able to see properly. These people are incompetent and I can not believe they are still in business. I canceled my order and I will be going elsewhere for my sons glasses and lenses from now on.

The appointment went very well, the optometrist and the staff were friendly and thorough. The wait time was minimum. When it comes time to selecting eye glasses or contacts, the staff wasnt pushy at all, which was refreshing. I picked up the glasses within the week, all went well. Now the reason for the 2 star. I opted for index 1.74 lenses, and paid the premium for them. When I picked them up, the lenses seemed quite thick to me, but it wasnt until I came home and compared with the pair of glasses I got a year ago thats almost the same prescription -- and a lower index 1.67 lenses -- did I realize that Maple Eyecare must have made a mistake with the order. I am pretty sure this was an honest mistake, but if I didnt have an old pair to compare with, I would have paid a lot more for the pair of cheap thick lenses. I will contact the store next week and hopefully resolve this issue quickly. Ill update the review based on the outcome.

Really great office. Wait time is used very well. They verify your information, do all of your pre-screening exams (very convenient rotating table with all the exams from 1 seat), and theres a television with NJ News 12 usually playing, so you have a moment to see local news. I always see Dr. Lori, and I like her a lot. I also like the interns they have. Everyone is very nice, I dont feel rushed during my appointment, my eye health ties into my general health and they keep my doctor informed. They took the time to call my insurance provider to ensure I was charged accordingly when I purchased frames. They have several late nights. There are reserved parking spots near the entrance. Id recommend to anyone who lives in the immediate area.

Today was my first visit to Maple Eyecare. The care I received today was more than I could have hoped for. I had not been to the eye doctor in 3 years and was slightly nervous about a few issues, however the staff was kind, professional, personable, knowledgeable, curteous and more than willing to answer all of my questions!!! I was fitted for contacts and as they were checking the fit and clarity, their intern discovered that I may have the wrong strengh, the Dr came in and confirmed that I needed a lower strength, even after wearing the same level of contacts for 5 years!! I have nothing but positive remarks and would highly reccomend this practice!!

Best experience ever!! I called the office to make an appt. and the friendly receptionist told me that the doctor was completely booked that day. After telling her that I had some eye pain due to the shingles virus she was quite concerned and told me that the doctor was out to lunch until 1:30 could I be there by 2:00?? I arrived at 2:00 and Dr. Rajkowski gave me a very thorough eye exam. I was out the door in under 30 minutes - with 2 different kinds of eyedrops. Thank You so much to Dr. Rajkowski and your professional staff.. P.S. I also received a call follow up the next day from Dr. Rajkowski.

Completely UNPROFESSIONAL staff. Very mean spirited and dishonest people, specifically the lady who was working on Friday, April 4th, 2014. I needed a pair of contacts as an emergency, she agreed to give them to me, I drove over, and without atleast giving me the courtesy and basic decency of calling me and telling me she was going to leave, I just ended up reaching a closed and empty office. I DO NOT recommend this place to anybody, these actions show that these are people you can not count on!

I went in for a visit to get my first pair of eye glasses. There was a very short wait and I was soon asked to begin my examination. Everyone was friendly, and answered all my questions. I have insurance for glasses, however they still openly discussed the cost of procedures, and recommended over the counter eye drops if I did not want to use their prescription for medicated drops. For a first experience they were wonderful. As far as doctors offices go, they are fantastic.

These guys are the best. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes from my scheduled appointment time. The staff know what they are doing, they have the latest and best tech and are genuinely friendly to deal with. I have been twice for regular eye exams and it was great. But more memorably, I had an injury that required immediate assistance and they got me in quickly and w/o hassle and gave me great piece of mind theyd be there when I need them.

I recently visited the Maple Eyecare location for the first time. I am an existing patient at their High Mountain Eyecare location. I was very impressed with the care I received and the tremendous selection of glasses. I was also able to find many selections for my three children. The staff was courteous and friendly. I would recommend either location. I also appreciated how I can use either location as it fits my ever changing schedule.
