This place would have gotten 5 star review if that disrespectful lady wasnt there. This is what happened today, I walked in and moments later the lady sitting behind her desk by the door says "appointments are that way". First off, i wasnt even there for an appointment. Then i tell her i had my appointment at a different location, and i was only there because they recommended this location for more glasses options then she says in a rude sarcastic voice "well, tell Jackson i said thank you" .. at this point i just let it go, and went to look for glasses. After i had found glasses and paid for them, i found out i could have used my insurance discount card and asked if there was a way to pay with that card instead. She then replies being snobby and rude, again... "no, it already went through" then the other worker tells us there IS A way to do it and she replies out loud " I dont have time for this!" then she admits to not knowing how to then tells the other guy "are you going to show me how to do it?" .. The other man was so nice, i regret not getting his name or thanking him, because both, there was one that was going to help us but he was nice and said he would help us after he got the other gentlemen glasses for him :) but ended up talking to the rude lady because she wasnt doing anything.. the men working there in the front with her were WONDERFUL, she made the entire experience really bad to the point ill never want to go back to this place only because of HER. I honestly dont know how anyone could deal with her. I feel bad for those nice people working there.. But thanks to those two men working there i cant thank you enough, as for the girl. If youre not happy or "dont have time for that" maybe you should find another job then youll have all the time in the world. I work with patients full-time and even if i have a bad day i NEVER let it show. That was a whole new level of rude and unprofessional.

Just got home from an appointment with Dr. Grand for my 88 year old mother. We never were seen by the Dr. The assistant was very rude and lacked empathy for my mothers hearing impairment. We waited 50 minutes and still were not seen by the Dr. The office was freezing cold and the assistant said that she and the Dr. were comfortable because they were moving around. I guess they dont care if the patients are sitting and freezing for close to an hour. We had to wait six weeks to get an appointment, they obviously dont schedule their appointments properly, the wait is totally disrespectful, if we were 50 minutes late they would not have seen us. The assistant blamed our wait on her not taking us in right away, that was her fault, not ours, we were on time. We did not receive an apology from the assistant or the Dr. when they saw us walking out. I spent 3 hours taking my mom to this eye exam appointment and now I have to start all over again and find a new opthalmologist for her. I have recommended some of the Millenium Drs. Many times before, I will not do so again.

Not a great place to order contacts/glasses. I wanted to order contact lenses over the phone and when I asked if I could have the my prescription details to make sure they had the right prescription on file, the merchant simply said "just give me your credit card number" - how rude. After the contacts came in, it turns out they ordered the wrong prescription because they never updated my file from the last time I was there (but of course, they found it hard to believe that they made a mistake). I had to get another eye exam because of their mistake. Then when I exchanged my lenses, I had to wait 20 minutes to be serviced, and the merchant ordered the correct brand but the wrong prescription lenses (again). Overall, the people who work here dont seem to care about customer satisfaction. I really dont like the way business is done here - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Im never coming here again.

GREAT PLACE. I have been going to Millennium Eye Care for over 25 years (yes before it was Millennium.) The best part is that they have an array of professionals at this location. If you have eyes that need long term care, this place has it all. I will admit, with a larger organization, you get less personal care. The review below comes from having a larger firm - overall, you need to lead your healthcare and push the folks involved. I have not had any bad experiences in the many years at Millennium. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After my Eye Exam, when I told told Dr I didnt want cataract surgery he couldnt end session soon enough. When I asked if I were legally blind he said, You fall into those parameters. When I asked what documentation I needed for that he said We dont carry those forms Check with the Lighthouse organization. The IRS requires a signed statement from an Eye Dr, I guess it doesnt put money in his pocket so he doesnt care about his patients. Go somewhere else.

Had a horrible experience here. The doctor was arrogant, argumentative, and condescending. He did not want to actually help, but rather seemed to want me to "wait out" a problem that will not go away on its own. Honestly, I have a feeling he was just trying to get me to come back repeatedly, thus charging me more and more for unnecessary repeat visits. Would not visit again, would not recommend. Find a doctor who actually wants to help, instead!

My eyes just got fashioned by Marina of Millennium Eye Care LLC! Such professional and experienced personnel! They take one look at your face and know exactly which frame suits you shape, size and color. No stress shopping. The store is very cozy and welcoming. Their frames are very fashionable. So well worth the drive from Long Island.

The most difficult aspect of dealing with this place is the lack of friendliness. The women at the front desk never smile and dispense with you as if processing an object. The medical staff is also rather perfunctory for the most part.
