Terrible experience so far. Walked in last week on a Monday the extremely unprofessional receptionist told I had to make an appointment ONLY after I sat down for half an hour waiting. After I told her I already filled out all the initial paperwork she told me I would have to just do it again next week. I couldnt understand why not just keep it so everything can just go quicker next time. Its been a week and now Ive been sitting here for 45 minutes !!! A full 30 minutes past my original appointment! The guy next to me asked when my appointment was and I told him 12:30 , he told me his was at 12:50 then, the doctor comes out with his patient then thats when the useless receptionist asks me if I signed in I said no, you never asked me to do it!! So , the 12:50 guy goes ahead of me!! I asked her why he went ahead of me since I had an earlier appointment and was here before he was she had no answer. If I didnt need contacts as bad as I do I would leave right now!! Awful!!

I agree about the prior comments made about the receptionist. He may have Aspergers Syndrome. However, the optometrist was highly skilled and professional!! She observed an abnormality in the optic nerve in my left eye and immediately wrote a script for me to see an Opthalmologist. I followed through with her advice, and learned that the physical structure of my eye is abnormal, but it is normal for me, and my eye health is just fine. I greatly appreciate her concern and recommendations. She is an excellent optometrist!!!!

Doctor S was very efficient, but the Secretary is about as terrible as can be. We were originally pre-approved by her with our insurance, only for her to feign ignorance when it came time to pay! She insisted she had no idea what my insurance card was for as they didnt take it- its one of the two insurances they take! Needless to say the headache caused is terrible as I now need the insurance groups customer service to file my claim since the Secretary couldnt be bothered to do her job. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. John Scaramia and his staff are very unprofessional in running this eye care center. Dont waste your time coming to this Costco Optical, move onto another eye care provider youll be glad.
