I had two occasions to visit Concentra: one after a power-tool-related injury, and the other a follow up. For the first visit, I had been considering going to the ER but went to Concentra when someone suggested it. The waiting room is typical for a doctor/ER waiting room, replete with free coffee, a blaring TV blasting banality, and what looked to might be free snacks. Not sure. They had snacks up front, but they may have charged for it. It they were free, it was a nice touch. The wait time for my emergency visit was terrific. If I had gone to the ER, I probably would have waited 4+ hours. Instead, I got in within 10-20 minutes. The front desk attendants, the nurses, and physicians assistants were all incredibly nice. In fact, not only were they nice to me, but they were nice to each other, which made me feel more comfortable there. The helpers seemed relatively inexperienced, but performed their duties more than adequately. Im not a doctor, so I cant be certain, but I feel that the doctor I saw was very competent and used methods and materials that were new to me. While my emergency visit was surprisingly quick, ironically it was my scheduled visit the next day that was incredibly slow. I went in with an appointment for a specific time, but was told that they were running about an hour late. It actually turned out to be almost two hours before they brought me in. All the time, that television was blaring at me. Ugh. That said, again, everybody was very friendly and efficient. The physicians assistant I saw was friendly and very competent. The only thing that bothered me was that I had to wait so long for such a short time actually being treated. However, Im inclined to cut Concentra a fair bit of slack here, because after all, theyre not just a doctors office; theyre an urgent care facility. People with serious problems come in unexpectedly, and it has to be hard fitting them into the schedule. I plan to see my regular physician for further follow-ups. While she too tends to run late, she doesnt run nearly TWO HOURS late. :) However, if, god forbid, I get another serious injury, I will certainly go to Concentra instead of my usual emergency room. The wait time was vastly shorter, and I felt I got more personal attention than I would at the ER, where there are often far more serious injuries being dealt with at the same time, and thus, making me a lower priority.

i wouldnt give them not even one star..they are the worst! they charge me 100 dollars for the DOT medica, I went in after 2 hours waiting to be attended by a mean indian "doctor" he had such an attitude, very uncomfortable feeling, mean look and demeanor told me that i have a heart problem that my heart beats are so low and that i needed an EKG (?) i had a complete physical last march and i was told nothing of this..went to my regular doctor in a rush and none of the bullshit he said is true. They have such a business there! they told the DOT patients all these lies and give them just 3 lousy months on their card permits expecting after that time to go back to them with another 100 dollars, it is outrageous im so angry at them i would sue them for all those lies!!! Never EVER will go back to them again!!!!

If I could place a NO STAR rating for this place, I would. Terrible wait time for an urgent care. ER would have been much faster. Nothing is urgent about this place. Staff members are slow and they claim that the computer system was down. I have been waiting here for more than 3.5 hours and still no doctor. I made this mistake to come here twice so far and both times are a disaster. Avoid this place if you care about your valuable time and the comfort of your child if they are sick. They can apologize 100 times over but it wont return my time lost or the discomfort of a sick child sitting here for hours on end.

The office personnel was wonderful had no problems. The Dr on the other hand is not for the patient, he obviously is looking out for the companies he takes workmans comp patients for! I was in pain explained and he said use bengay and the buddy system to have co-workers cover my shifts and sent me back to work regular duty for the next day!!!! Um I said I was in pain and cant restrain patients at my job Hello did you not hear me!!!!!!!! That was like saying screw u to me!

Sending my drivers from Elizabeth NJ to Parsippany & back for a drug screening test, saved me about 4-5 Hours.($100.00-$200.00) Parsippany had my driver in & out in less than 20 minutes, Elizabeth is like a 4 - 6 hour wait. Its ridiculous. If your in the same position as I am, and need your drivers on the road, and not sitting in a waiting room while you pay them, consider the trip to Parsippany, You wont regret it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I sat in the waiting room with only 4 patients ahead of me for TWO hours. Then I finally had my name called and waited in the exam room for another 45 minutes. There was only 1 doctor working. As I waited for nearly 3 hours to see a doctor, at least 10 additional patients came in. I dont understand how an urgent care could only have 1 doctor working. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!

Too all you privileged snobs thinking you can walk in at 3:00 and dont have to wait your wrong the world doesnt revolve around you. I showed up at 7:45 in the AM with a sinus infection and waited by the door until opening. I was seen within an hour and the staff was extremely pleasant. The doctor was great very thorough with a great attitude. I will definitely use this office again when needed.

If youre in need of urgent CARE DONT COME HERE. They dont care if your in pain or bleeding all over the place. You will still wait HOURS! Receptionist rude and uncaring because she has to follow some stupid set of rules. If I could have given them a zero or negative number I would. Dont ever bring a child here thinking you will save time. Youre better off at the hospital.

The staff is extremely rude and does not care about what is going on in their facility. If you want to get better, do not even try to go here. However, if you feel like waiting 3 hours for lousy care and an uninterested nurse practitioner who will do nothing to help you (and make you feel like a moron all the while), then this is the place for you.

The worst clinic and worst service ever!!! Never ever go to this place. Wait time is forever. Its urgent care but they make you wait whole day just to be seen by Doctor. I waited 4 hrs, really 4 hrs on Sunday just to see doctor. I was so pissed off... One poor old man left the clinic... He waited there for 4 hrs... I cant believe this.....

Second time I went there. I went there for abdominal pain. They take blood and urine test tell me I have gallstones or kidney stones just need a sonogram. He tells me go now puts a rush on it it two days later. I day later no diagnosis yet and miss two days of work with no doctor note. Thank you this isnt medical emergency.
