Literally the worst experience at a medical institution Ive ever had. Front desk couldnt navigate my insurance, it was new to me so I didnt know what my co pay was, she could find it so she said "lets say its 35, huh? If its more well bill you" It turned out that I had no Co pay. Then I go spent 45 getting checked in and what not, literally 3 minutes with the doctor. He asked me lift my shift and diagnosed my shingles from across the room (he was never close enough to me to touch me) then spent the next 2 and half minutes telling me why I shouldnt have come to urgent care for that. Prescribed me a pain medication uncommonly used for cases like mine and no actual cure. On my way out I asked "so it will clear up on its own?" he said yes. My pharmacist was appalled that I was percriped something to treat my rash and I went the next day to JKF urgent care (great experience. LOVE them). I was charged 181 after insurance for concentra and 91 for jfk... For literally double the front desk time, a 4th of doctor time and no cure. I logged a complaint with the company, took me 2 weeks just to get someone to put the complaint in. Then took them 2 and a half months to get back to me (which isnt really accurate... I kept calling and finally had an answer) they gave me treatment then as the doctor gave me before. Luckily they paid forthe visit and it came off my insurance. Its worrisome when the medical board of this place backs the decision to not give someone treatment when "yes depending on how long the rash had been present it might not have been the optimal time to start treatment so it is technically within the standards to not prescribe treatments if he thought it wouldnt do you any good" then how how come EVERYONE else I spoke to was horrified I did not receive treatment knowing the same information? "well technically he was within the treatment guidelines". Never never never never never never never never never never never never never go here. Ever.

I had a very bad experience. I asked first if they have the expertise to treat me. After taking copay the Doc said that he couldnt even see the problem. I showed him with my naked eye and a flashlight and he refused to agree if there was a problem. And later he said that he doesnt have expertise to see it and refer me to someone else. Someone showing up in a urgent care is already stressed and I found the doc totally irresponsible and insensitive. In the end I asked him if I still need to pay as you have done nothing for the treatment but he said I need to pay. If you need a medical care DO NOT go there they dont have medical expertise and they dont care for their patients.

I should have know service was going to be subpar when The question on the check-in asked if I was bleeding profusely. Receptionist must have recieved her training at DMV. I left and went home sick. Never again.
