I dont use to give reviews to places I go. But this time I think its important, because before I went to Eric Chandler health center I read the reviews and werent good. So I wasnt expecting much. I dont have health insurance and surprisedly I got pregnant, and some people recommend me this place. I called the place to ask what I needed to do, they told me to go and make a laboratory test to prove my pregnancy. So I went there and the lady from the front desk was as sweet as a pie. She even offered me her chocolate I didnt accepted because it was her snack but I really appreciated the attitude. I made an appointment for my first visit to the OB. I spent 3 hours there, first giving to the receptionist all the papers I needed to bring And then a nurse called me, she was so nice. Another nurse called me to make some questions about my medical history and my family medical history as well. And then I was sent to another room waiting for the doctor, I was concerned because it was a first time with an OB talking about pregnancy. But she was so nice and clear with everything she asked me or explained to me. She was young, I guess she may be a resident. But I was so thankful that she was nice and calm and so professional. Then a social worker called me to make some questions, she was super nice! And the guy from the lab too. Also I got a PPD and the nurse who applied it to me was so kind and calm. I appreciate to have this good experience, they work as a team of professionals. I feel safe, I feel comfortable to keep going! I dont want to forget to say, that I was seating and waiting and on my head I had so many information and I was making a mess with the future steps, such a make more appointments, go to some addresses, see the genetic concealer, and all the things they told me to do. But hopefully another professional called me and gave me all the papers I need to make appointments, to get my lab work done and have a resume of basically everything. That was all I needed to leave happy and not worrying about any confusion. Before I leave the center I made appointments with the receptionist who first helped me. And she was so helpful. Everyone was. Cant say anything wrong about them. I also saw the rest of the people in the waiting room, everyone was calm, the place is clean and with a lot of information. Thank you

This has been a wonderful facility for me personally. Ive been a patient there since April 2012. Out of work and diagnosed with cancer, I credit them with saving my life. Though they facilitated my transition to the Cancer Institute, they are still primary care givers. You cant imagine the amount of appointments Ive had, with all the testing, lab work and followups. I have always been treated with the utmost dignity and respect. These hard working people are true professionals. This is a very busy facility, treating a multitude of low and moderate income families, to no income families. Be prepared to provide the paperwork and documentation they ask for. And be prepared to wait, although, its no more than Ive experienced at other medical facilities. The other great convenience for me is having my blood work and EKGs done right there. I only have to walk across the room. And these doctors all work at the hospital too, at least mine do. Top notch doctors and nurses, they are a credit to their field. I saw in one of the reviews here, the reviewer said the nurse at the front desk was rude. Nurses dont work the front desk, receptionists do. I would take these other reviews with a grain of salt, because I know first hand how hardworking and dedicated they are. I believe they have a very proficient system and if I have to be a patient anywhere, Im glad its here.

I visited the downtown New Brunswick office for a dental exam. They were extremely busy with "emergency walk-ins" and I finally was seen an hour after my scheduled time (which was first thing in the morning). Doc and nurses were friendly enough. They recommended I have my cleaning at their high school campus, which was clean, calm and wonderful -- until I sat in the chair and waited 40 minutes for the doctor who was running late. She came in and after LITERALLY only SEVEN MINUTES said my teeth werent very "dirty" and she was done. I was astounded! She didnt even clean all my teeth, and this was very important to me as I had just quit smoking. I dont recommend this place if you have any other choices.

Not a big fan of this place. Ive been going there since my son was born. and it is always impossible to get an appointment when you actually need it. When you go during their urgent care hours you still need to wait about 2-3 hours. Not to mention Robert Wood Er for children is the worst. The place is unorganized, the workers seem to hate their jobs and ealing with people as well. their care during my pregnancy was excellent. Never missed a beat and I was very content, but when it comes to my sons treatment I hate it. If youre looking for a doctor for your baby or child best go to Saint peters as they take all same the insurance companies as the chandler.

I got sick and needed lab work done. My doctor (high school location) sent me to the George street location to do all the lab work. The locations are about a thirty minute drive from me and I was inconveniently forced to redo the lab work three times because of their mistakes. Besides this I was never able to reach my doctor and there was very little effort of communication made by my doctor after getting the results. So overall I was forced to wait three months to get the results for an illness that could have been deadly. I am not happy at all with the service and unprofessional staff and I will not be returning to any of the Eric b chandler locations.

I havent been to the clinic yet, I am waiting for my appointment date to come. I have yet to be seen for my 1st prenatal clinic, they werent able to see me earlier. getting in touch with them is a total disaster. I stay on hold for 8 minutes (because it doesnt let me stay on longer) at a time for the past 3 days, and I have left 2 voicemails no one gets back to me. one time I wasnt even able to leave a voicemail, since the voicemail was full. I left them a question regarding some discharge that I am worried about and I have yet to hear back from them! what is going on over there !!!!

Ive been going here for three years and even though it has its faults the medical care is amazing. I started going good here when I first moved to New Brunswick because I didnt know the area doctors and this was convenient. I stay because my doctor is great, the staff is friendly and really does their best to help everyone. Yes, its crowded, yes kids run wild, yes, sometimes you have to wait, but I think its worth it for the care I get. One tip, avoid going on Wednesdays, thats their busiest day.
