Dr. Triana is a good general physician. Hes easy to talk with and listens well. Hes personable, knowledgeable and communicates well. His medical staff is pleasant and competent. He gets 4 stars. Unfortunately, his support staff is very slow. I have let the office number ring 55 times, interspersed with the dreaded "all our people are helping other people; please stay on the line" and never had it picked up. His office hours are not provided. Their prescription phone choice notes it can be up to 4 days before a prescription is called into the pharmacy. It took 10 days to straighten out a prescription that had not been called into the pharmacy. Referrals take months. Wait time the last time I was there was 1/2 hour even though there was only one person ahead of me and the exam rooms appeared to be nearly all empty. A medical practice is more than just the doctor. Most of the interaction with Dr. Triana is actually with his support staff, medical and administrative. The overlong time it takes to deal with getting the phone answered, getting prescriptions in a timely manner and getting referrals to other doctors detracts from the overall medical practice.

Completely unprofessional. Does not follow NYS laws and regulations in regards to discharging a patient. This is very UNSAFE PRACTICE WHEN DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS. This office fails to care about the medical needs of their patients. They have continued to play run around games when it comes to mental health medications as well as individuals well-being, health and safety. I do not personally go to this office but know someone very close to me who does and it has been a struggle to maintain any type of quality health care though this office, especially with their secretarial and management staff. I have worked in health care my entire life, and this by far as been the worst office and staff I have seen in regards to allowing their patient to continuously struggle with trying to maintain a healthy, sober, good-quality, stable lifestyle. If I could rate a zero- I would.

Dr. Ted J Triana is a true professional doctor in the entire city, he listens very well, communicates in plain language and if you dont understand any medical related term, he will gladly explain it to you. I sure miss him since I moved out of NY. As far as his staff is concerned they treat you with respect. Thank you Dr. Triana for your service :)

I like nothing about this place. The receptionist is not friendly and surely knows nothing about communication. When you do business, please get someone who can communicate effectively at the front desk. This place is completely unprofessional.

dr Tirana was good dr at one time .he now has over 8 thousand patients at 4 locations. he still is a great dr.when you can get him.his staff is nasty and do not communicate well with patients..
