I have never experienced such incompetency in a medical practice as I have at Md Primary Care in Grasonville. I have recently had High BP problems and I have been monitoring it at home. Last week my BP was 164/104 and this greatly concerned me. I have not been feeling well and this reading was the highest I have ever had. I called the office to talk to someone and make an appointment but I was on hold the entire drive from Easton to the Grasonville office. When I arrived at the office I signed in as a walk in. When I was called up to the receptionist is explained my situation and asked if I could have my BP checked. She told me they didnt do that and who told you we checked BPs. I told her that Clare Ross had told me on the past to come in whenever I wanted to have it checked. The receptionist told me that the lab was too busy to BP checks and they would not do it today. I asked to see Lauren Bond but she was on vacation. I asked if anyone could see me and she said no. She then made an appointment to see Lauren Bond a week later which was today. When I saw her my BP was still very high and I explained what happened a week ago. She appeared very concerned and asked if I would share my experience with the office manager. When I finished having my blood drawn I was instructed to find th office manager and that she was expecting me. I left the lab to go to get office but she met me in the hallway instead. I introduced myself and she immediately began to give me excuses for not answering the phone and not taking my BP. She stated there were phone problems and that the only reason someone didnt check my BP that day was probably because they didnt have anyone qualified in the lab to do it. I was instructed to bake an appointment next time or log in to the portal to discuss anything. She then said she was sorry and that was it!!! I will never return to this practice and I assure you I will share my experience with anyone and everyone I know!
