My mris had been misread by the MRI tech. So, when I went there for over 2 years. They told me my pain was in my head due to the fact I had survived a brutal assault. I told them they were missing something. I went to a phycologist and he said mentally I was so normal that I was boring. I left there practice and I begged a nerosurgent to surgery. She said my diagnosis was not one that needed surgery. She did it any way. I had been walking around with a shattered vertabrae for 3 years. She looked at all of my 3 mris . It was on all three mris. The first was read wrong and the others compared theres to minor problems the first one saw and missed the big stuff. Three years later I was told to go to a pain clinic. I went back and told the nurse and I began to cry. Going through that much suffering and people repeatly saying its in your head is rough. Dr Smith came in the room introducing himself and saying you are crying. I said yes i am. He said Ive looked at your record and what phyc medicines are you on? I said i dont take any and didnt when i was hear before. I asked did you look at the surgents notes. He said he never got them. I told him the whole story and why I was crying even if he didnt ask. He was rude and dismissed me with what I found out later was heavy phyc medicines. When I told him my Dr said no exercise unless it was on an inversion table due to my spine collapsing. He said" I dont believe you and we will see whats true when I get the drs notes. I told the receptionist no I wont sign for you to get the notes. He will never get the benefit of knowing the truth and Ill just take massive amounts of Advil till my kidneys shut down before I walk back through these doors!

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Smith. If it was not for Dr. Holzer who is an amazing doctor I would not even go here. I complained for years about my legs tingling and the pain extended from my back I had many ER visits from it being so severe. There was other doctors and PAs that blew off my concerns saying it was fibromyalgia but I knew it was not. Finally a fill in PA told me to see Dr. Holzer and get my legs tested. Well the results showed some nerve damage in my legs!!! I also had a PA get my MRI results in and she wrote they were completely normal but on the report it states clearly one of the problems found "causes pain" the radiologist wrote that on the report but this PA said my results-were 100% normal....always ask for a copy of your results because Ive found with many doctors mot just some here will not mention results that "they think" arent significant...but you need to know whats on that report big or little for now or future!

The last time i went to painmanagement in Dec. 2015. Ms G. You know your last name she lied on me to one of the doctors saying that i did not bring my meds in the last time. I did bring the ones i had. I felt like leaving this place but decided to discuss the matter with her at my March appointment. Bon Secours sent me a letter and they stated that if i did not bring my meds on the next visit that they were not going to see me lanymore. I felt very upset because I know I brought what I had. My husband is my witness. that she was not right. The other people seemed to be ok. Now I dont know. I like the front desk folk. Please check into this matter. I will be coming back in soon, in March. Try them for yourself.

This place can be the worst... They want you on time, but you have to sit there an hour or more waiting to see the Dr. My experience with the Dr has been good, but I also have no problem giving them a bad report when ask to do a survey if my visit wasnt good . What these doctors need to realize just as well, is without you, we wouldnt have any health care... but without us as patients you wouldnt HAVE A JOB!!! Treat your patients with respect as we should do unto you. Take time to listen and give your best advice and care for your patients as you would care for yourself or family members. Bon Secour does stand for these morals. Represent them WELL.

Heartless assholes! I had to go out of state for a family emergency in Wisconsin and they REFUSED to send any scripts or offer even a hint of help. Im on Fentanyl patches! They know how sick I will be when I run out and they dont care!!! The had the balls to ask if there was any way I could run to the office to pick them up and go back!! WHAT DRUGS ARE THEY ON?!?! Im half was across the country! Unless you want to wait 2 months for an appointment with doctors who could care less about you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dr. Smith is very uncaring. I will never ever recommend anyone to him. He has a very bad bedside manner. Very uncaring. Treated me like I was a drug addict looking for narcotic meds. I have never asked for a narcodic drug since Ive had my pain. Dr. Henick is absolutely wonderful but Dr. Smith is the opposite. I do not recommend Dr. Smith fo r anyone who is in severe pain

My father in law was just killed forcing me to miss an appointment and they KICKED ME OUT because i Could Not Pee after just stopping at a rest stop to pee where i could change my disabled son!!!!!!!! They told me to pick up the prescriptions , not that i needed to take a urinalysis.They lied to me and added insult to injury. Worst doctors office EVER.

My experience was horrible I felt the doctor was mean and racist and he wasnt trying. To hear nothing I had to say. he refused to give me what worked for me so that same day I discharged myself and my doctor gave me what work for me the whole damn staff was rude!

Dr. Clifton is a family man first but also a great doctor! Being a family man first makes him more understanding and empathetic to certain situations. HE IS MY DOCTOR and I think he is GREAT!
