Very rude dentist office tried calling to set up an appointment for the first time and after having to recall 5 times to get threw as the machine kept saying we are on the other line try again later they finially answer actually the dentist himself answered. i must say in all my years ive never delt with a more incompitant person he just kept repeating himself asking me which side would i like my appt for i tried explaning more then once it would be my first visit and he just kept repeating what do you want done i said check up i guess as itll be my first visit to your office and then go from there then he asked again so which side would you want at this point i repeated this would be my first visit so which ever side does first time visits still he kept repeating his same question i could tell this wasnt the place to go i mean how hard is it to set a simple appt so in the end i said forget it and hung up if you cant do somthing as simple as setting up a patient first app you dont need to be touching my mouth! Warning dont waste your time even calling not worth the headache

I am a new patient of Dr. Pretlow Stevenson. I have had 2 visits thus far and I must say, I am very pleased. The staff has been very nice and extremely competent. The hygienist explained everything that was being done during the Xrays and cleaning; and she was personable and put me at ease. Dr. Stevenson (aka Dr. Steve) was very nice and made suggestions for my care but did not push any procedure. My second visit entailed the first filling of three total. I expected he would do all at the same time, but I was having issues with coughing, so I think he gave me a break. He was extremely understanding, very gentle, and insisted I was to tell him if I felt any pain. Finally, the staff has worked up a plan for my procedures so that any cost that is coming out of my pocket wont be such a large hit. I dont like dentists at all and as a result, rarely go. Dr. Stevenson has made me very comfortable with the process which will encourage me to take better care of my teeth. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a family dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephenson for at least 10 years. My children, ages 17 - 4 all see him and they all just adore the hygienist as well. Everyone in the office is very gentle and patient. I am very fearful of most dentistry procedures but the Dr is so calming and nice that I am able to relax. Another amazing thing about this awesome dentist is that he is not going to push any useless procedures on you. He is careful not to do any dental work that is not absolutely necessary just to squeeze out more money from his patients. My budget really appreciates that. As another previously posted, it is sometimes difficult to get through for an appointment but I dont care, I will never go anywhere anywhere else and this dentist is worth the extra effort.

I was told I needed a Root Planing and got the clean-up procedure completed during my first visit. It turns out that after submitting this information to my insurance company along with xrays and periodontal charts I received notice that "A Licensed dentist has reviewed the clinical information submitted and determined that there appears to be no loss of bone level requiring scaling and root planing."

I have just recently returned to Dr. Stevensons dental practice, after being a patient of his as a teenager over 20 years ago. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone who is in need of a family dentist. The staff members are pleasant, professional and gentle. The office is quaint and very comfortable, which makes it feel more personable. I truly trust his 38 years of experience.
