I have been going to First Colonial Family Practice for the past 30 years. Dr. Thomas Jones has been a wonderful doctor to myself and my family. I have seen a few other doctors at times when I have had to go in for Urgent Care and no I do not have the same experience as I do with Dr. Jones. Dr. Malbon has been extremely helpful when I have seen her she is very professional but not very cheery but I do not expect that from someone who is jsut seeing you for the urgent care. There are a couple of doctors there that could use a dose of bed side manners but all in all this is a a great practice with very knowledgable caring doctors.

DONT EVEN BOTHER CALLING THIS PLACE! I sat on hold for SIXTEEN minutes and then they hung up on me. I had asked for contact through their website....nothing. I called and sat on hold for ten minutes before hanging up because I didnt know how long it would take and I had to move on to my next project. Third time? I had enough time to wait it out as I wanted to set up a simple physical exam. When I said I would be a new patient and wanted to schedule a physical, she said I had to set an appointment for a consult BEFORE I could schedule an appointment for a physical! If you are looking to become a new patient...DONT.

This front office is the worst I have ever worked with. They double/triple charge your insurance, bill you, and then say it is your fault for slow payment after the insurance company rejects claims (due to multiple submission) They frequently call and move your appointments only to arrive and have not record of the final call. I arrived 10 minutes late for an appointment in which I was told to come as a walk in. I was told they would not take me....after moving it twice as they realigned the doctors schedule. Please please please keep looking for a real doctor.

Dr. Bullard was completely unprofessional and condescending. Being pregnant, I had gone in with concerns about my bronchitis and sinus infection not improving. He told me that he is "not a baby doctor so how should he know whats safe to take during pregnancy!" He said I should call my OB to see if prescribed medications are safe, and that how should he know as he is "only a family practitioner." Worst medical appointment ever. Will never return to this practice after having been a patient for 21 years!

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I have had nothing but issues with this facility. The doctors act like they could care less about what is wrong with you. Some of the nurses are rude. If you leave a message, they take days to call you back. When you are not feeling well the last thing you want to deal with is someone who seems uninterested in your symptoms and what you have to say. There is more "guessing" what is wrong with you then proper diagnosis. I would NOT recommend this provider to anyone.

I called to make an appointment but was encouraged to come in as a "walk in." Waited for a half hour to check in, and when I checked, the receptionist said she had called my name "a couple times." I was sitting about 10 feet from her and have excellent hearing, so I know that she did not. Waited another half hour and left to go to Patient First. No respect for my time or for me whatsoever. I have had very good experiences with the doctors in the past, but their office staff is terrible.

Ive been coming to FCFP now for approximately 10 years. This practice has always taken care of me and my various needs no matter the nature. Ive seen multiple doctors and while they all have their own personalities , I feel comfortable seeing anyone whose available as I trust them and know they have my best interest in heart. Theyre always confident in their diagnosis and thorough in their follow up. I have recommended this practic to many people and will continue to do so.

I have been a patient of First Colonial Family Practice for over 20 years. I have found all the medical and administrative staff to be extremely professional at all times. Out of all my medical experiences in my life, I have never had a disappointing experience at FCFP. They are excellent at staying on time and getting you in within a few minutes of the appointment. I have recommended FCFP to many people over the years and have only received positive feedback.

My husband uses First Colonial Family Practice and for the most part, it is well run. As a walk-in, he waits a short time. The improved phone experience is better as they tell you how many are in the cue before you, so you dont just sit and wonder. They take Medicare and so we dont have a problem with billing. I would recommend this practice as an all around facility with good doctors, some better than others, but you get that everywhere.

So I just moved to the area and was looking for a PCP. Ive went to this practice twice now for non routine things. The PA, Tyler Volpe, that Ive seen both times was great and diagnosed the problem correctly the first visit and was quick to educate me on what was happening. The nurses were friendly and the staff was welcoming. The facility is definitely not brand spanking new, however it was clean and pretty well organized. Great find!

Worst DR office Ive ever been too. Completely unprofessional. Issued me a prescription which I lost. I know Im in the wrong, but in calling to request a new prescription I was not only told no I couldnt get an additional prescription but as an adult I should know to take care of a prescription. I could of dealt with not getting an additional prescription but I am still a customer how about a little customer service!

I recently became a patient at First Colonial Family Practice, and I could not be happier with my experience so far. Dr. Jones is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. I arrived five minutes before my 2:30 appointment, and at 2:30 I was in my patient room getting vitals taken. At 2:32 I was with the doctor. My two previous experiences have been similar. Im gonna stop bring my iPad with me to the Dr.s office!

Our healthy daughter became very ill while on vacation. We didnt know which urgent care to bring her to; found First Colonial from an Internet search. Bless Dr Jones for taking her under his wing and getting her the care she needed, no hesitation. We will always remember his kindness and that of his staff, too. We are on our way back home early to Indiana; been a heckuva vacation.

Trying to get a live person on the phone to schedule an appointment is ridiculous. After 2 weeks of being put in the que today I waited 41 minutes on hold in "the que" I finally got someone only to be told their phone system was about to go down and the lady said she "would call me right back". Still no call back and have made several attempts to call back.

My experience here has been the same for 30 years. Doctors are good but not enough of them staffed to handle the amount of patients. I try to avoid going there if possible. Plan on waiting at least an hour in the waiting area and another hour in the back depending on what treatment you need. 2-3 hours per trip is normal. Very frustrating.
