Dr. Bill was my dentist when I was a kid and now I take my kids there too! The office is clean, kid-friendly, AND teen-friendly as well. The staff are always very accommodating and everyone wears a smile. The most important thing is that my kids love going there! They are great with younger kids and both of my boys have felt comfortable from their first visit. The hygienists actually take the time to talk to your child and make them feel at ease. Dr. Bill comes out after every visit to give you a quick summary of whats going on with your childs teeth. I recognize several of the team members that were working there back when I was a kid (am in my 30s now) so there are many on the team who have a lot of experience, dedication, and love for their jobs. Very impressed with this dental practice and I definitely recommend it. Have also referred a few friends who have kids and they were impressed with them too.

My oldest daughter has been a patient of Dr. Angies for 6 years. From day one she has had great experiences at Great Beginnings. After her second visit she was comfortable going to her appointment without Mom or Dad being in the room and for her that was a huge step! We are now beginning to navigate the Orthodontic phase and I am thrilled to have the experienced staff to guide us through the process. The office staff is always smiling and welcoming to the children and parents. The personalized care we receive is top notch. Prior to our visit today the office called to let me know our preferred Hygienist would not be in the office and asked if we wanted to reschedule. We went ahead with the appointment and the Hygienist was great with my Daughter as well. The thoughtfulness of the staff to consider her preference goes above and beyond. Thank you for another wonderful experience at the Dentist.

Dr. Angie and Dr. Doug and all the ladies on staff there have always been so great with my kids. We have been going there for 12 years and my kids always look forward to going there. They have had teeth that needed extracting and maybe not too excited to have that done but always felt comfortable to go in without me knowing that the staff would be trying hard to minimize discomfort. They are great to motivate them to avoid cavities as well. We had a foster child with a great amount of dental issues and very little trust in adults and Dr. Angie was so patient and kind and worked hard to develop a plan that would take care of his needs without instilling a permanent fear of the dentist. She looked at the whole child, not just what was in his mouth. When we had a broken tooth they worked us into the schedule immediately.

The entire staff at Great Beginnings in Asheville is always very friendly and energetic. They give both of my kids 100% at each visit and work hard to make them comfortable and examine and clean their teeth thoroughly. Its so nice that they keep them busy with balloons and prizes from the prize machine while moms checking out. The whole office is always very clean, even the play area where they provide fun things to keep the younger kids busy and even have multiple tablets lining the walls for the older kids to enjoy. My kids always have to check out the fish tank and pause for pictures with the big elephant and giraffe in the entranceway. They offer an online payment option and are very up front about pricing. I would highly recommend Great Beginnings in Asheville.

Our five year old daughter has been going to Great Beginnings since her first teeth were checked. The office staff have always been courteous, and the clinical staff are wonderful with children. We see Dr. Angie, and she is always friendly and warm with our daughter. Initially, our child was a little nervous about going to the dentist, but the staff are always so sweet and so positive about her check-ups and cleanings that she looks forward to going. She is always receptive to them teaching her about her dental hygiene and eagerly brushes, flosses, and uses her water pik so Dr. Angie will be proud of her teeth. Pretty good for a five year old!. The tokens for the prize machine and the balloons are extra perks that most kids appreciate.

We LOVE Great Beginnings! Have been taking my kids there since we moved to Asheville and it is one of the my very favorite places to take my kids. My kids have NEVER complained on going or had ANY issues ever with their teeth or pain or nerves. The office is one of the most professional offices I have ever attended. They are wonderful with reminders & most professional & friendly when we go. We actually look FORWARD to our visits! They know my kids & have gotten to see them grow. My daughter just graduated 8th grade & the fact that Dr. Chambers came & spoke to her & I about it & how long he has known her & was just so warm & REAL. I LOVE Dr.. Chambers & my kids know it!

My daughter Maggie has been a patient of Dr. Baechtold at Great Beginnings for several years. Never once has she had any apprehension about her dental appointments. The staff has always been friendly and provided excellent care. Even when Maggie had to have two teeth pulled as a six-year-old she actually reported no pain at all! Dr. Baechtold has always been very interactive with myself and Maggie. I am always given time to ask questions or voice concerns, which means so much! I would highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a great experience for you child! Starting out on the "right " foot for dental care is so important.

My 3 year old daughter looks forward to going to the dentist. Last week she had her cleaning and check-up and was excited about it. Everything about Great Beginnings is child-friendly. The staff knows how to talk to children. The waiting room is fun and we have never had to wait very long. The rooms have different themes and toys in them. We were in the "jungle room" last week and my daughter noticed the paw prints on the ceiling. My daughter gave them one of her pictures and they framed it and put it on the wall. She was very excited. Plus, they give lots of treats; stickers, a balloon, dental goody bag. They make going to the dentist fun!

Last week my daughter Claire found out that she was going to the dentist today and has been counting down the days she was so excited. I have never known a child to be this excited about a doctors appointment. She was so proud to wear her Great Beginnings t-shirt. As I hoped she had a wonderful exam with again no cavities. Her hygienist had nothing but good things to say and Dr. Angie made a point to praise her in front of me. Claire said that she was allowed to play the Ipad while waiting for Dr Angie. No other ped dentist has been so great with children. Thanks for making my child excited to go to the doctor.

Absolutely the best place! My two year old LOVES visiting. From the first step in the door he is "wowed" by all there is to see and touch! The hygienists and dentists are VERY patient and loving towards his two year old ways. My younger son is totally entertained in the waiting room (with supervision from a relative) due to the many activities there are to do. We have and will continue to recommend Great Beginnings to everyone! I wish we had something like it when we were growing up. I hope with my sons experiences there he will grow up to enjoy going to the dentist instead of dreading it like his parents do:)
