This is long but please read before going to see this man for your dental needs. I wish someone had warned me. I will not go back. Had all of my wisdom teeth pulled about 5 days ago by Dr. Morrison. Went in for what I thought was a routine visit and to schedule my wisdom teeth extraction for a future date because I work and am a mother of 2. This was mid week and I was not expecting him to pull them that day. He looks around and then just starts shooting all my gums up with novacaine. Without even telling me he was going to pull them! I had work the next day! I had to reschedule all my clients and lost money because of it. He gets done with the novacaine and I said so youre doing it right now??! Hes like yep just gonna pop them out no biggie. I literally start going into panic mode. My entire body is shaking. He said if he didnt they would get infected blah blah blah. The assistant assured me it wont hurt and the healing process is nothing at all. Well he starts and OMG he literally is putting all his weight into yanking my first tooth out. I could feel everything! I was crying and screaming and he never stopped! This goes on for all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Not only that, he ended up cutting the inside of my mouth with the tooth saw thing now I have a giant rumor like sore in my mouth. He was not gentle at all. I thought He was going to rip my cheek in half he was pulling on it so hard. Not only that but the way he was talking to his assitant was so rude! Telling her that he really didnt need her there he could do it himself but since shes there she needs to do it right. And dont do it like that, I NEVER do it like that! I felt so bad for her. His tone with her was so condescending. Anyways, he finally finished and sent me home with a prescription for 12 pain pills. For 4 wisdom teeth! You take 2 every 4 hours. Well 2 days later Im in excruciating pain and I look and I have dry socket in one of them. So I call and he tells me he will fix it up. So I go in, he doesnt even numb the area at all. Now dry socket is extremely painful, EXTREMELY! He just starts literally power blasting the hole where the tooth was. It hurt so bad. Then he put a medicated pad into the hole. All while not numbed whatsoever. After that he gave me another prescription for the same pain medicine that I had before. Well it works for about 3 hours and then wears off. I try it for a day and then I call to see if he could give me something a little stronger, they say they dont give pain medicine for longer than 2 days. I had all 4 of my teeth removed and had dry socket!! Really?? 2 days is all I get? And the way you tell us to take the meds it doesnt even last 2 days!! Needless to say I will not be going back. I will be paying out of pocket for my root canal and Im glad to say he will not be getting my money for that. This man doesnt care about you or does he have any sympathy for your pain. Just please be aware guys!

I was looking for Dr. Morrisons phone number online when I saw these google reviews; it occurs to me that sometimes people only bother to write a review if they have a bad experience. Well, I just got back from my appointment and I really want tell the world what a fantastic dentist Dr. Morrison really is. He has always done a wonderful job with my teeth and his chair-side manner is great... Hes just a very personable and down-to-earth kind of guy. He takes time to talk with you and answer questions and his staff is very friendly and helpful too. Before I started going to him I had called around to other offices for prices and his are pretty much right on par with everyone else in the area. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I missed my schedule appointment because my husband had cut his finger off at work. Dr Morrison called me and told me to find another dentist that I was no longer welcome back because it was the second appointment i missed. The first was due to winter weather. I have a 5 month old and wasnt going to risk getting out .Yeah I didnt call in and tell them I wouldnt make it. But my husband got his finger sliced off for Christ sake! The month before I had paid them over $4,000 to get my teeth fixed.. and now I cant go back.. Im pretty pissed.

Very comfortable visit.. I had an extraction of a bad molar and never felt a thing. The numbing was right on spot.. Very friendly staff and Dr Morrison himself was very friendly and gentle considering how big the tooths roots were.. 7 hrs Later and still no swelling..

My Mom was seeing Dr Morrison and within 1 year he said that she needed 4 crowns replaced due to cracks. The tooth not hurting her or nothing wrong. My opinion is that he was looking to make some money. Be careful, no need to replace a crown unless it is hurting you.

He is an amazing dentist!!! He will help whoever he can and does an amazing job!! These comments about being money hungry are absolutely absurd!!!! He pulled my wisdom tooth when no one else would and did an amazing job! Thank you Dr. Morrison!!!

Never would I tell someone to go here due to his negligence my boyfriend had to have emergency oral surgery three day post being in the office and being told it was his wisdom tooth and pulling it.

Excellent Dentist!!! Had 3 crowns and they fit perfect! Ive always feared dentist but Doctor Morrison is so gentle. I never felt the shots and was numbed perfectly. Best dentist in WNC!

Avoid! Quoted me $2500 for a root canal! Went to another dentist and it was only $700! He told me to ask all my family members for money! Money hungry and does not care about patients!
