Dont go to any Great Expressions Dental Centers if you like your money!! Overall Dr. Fermin & his staff have pretty dry personalities but tolerable. The problem is they have no clue how to do a proper quote. They gave me my treatment plan, verbally reinforced the amounts to be charged, & 4 months later they have tripled the amount that I owe! Not only have they increased the costs, they have threatened to send me to collections with NO prior notification that there was an issue. After days talking to my insurance & many people in their office this is what I learned: 1. They gave me a treatment plan based off an insurance that was not mine. 2. They could not be bothered to contact my insurance to ensure their quote was accurate. 3. They did not explain the quote well and left me to believe the "billed" amount on the plan would be what they charge the insurance. They actually charged the "UCR" charge for double the cost. The amount they told me it would cost without insurance. 4. They will not take responsibility for quoting me with the wrong insurance. They blame my insurance because "they didnt pay what was expected " (Go back to #2. They did not contact my insurance to see what was covered.) 5. They called me out of the blue 4 months later to tell me my account was heading to collections, even though I had no prior notice. The amount I owed doubled within 1 day. They told me I owed $320, the next day I owed $680. This is because they did not proper update their files based on what they actually billed & funds received. Their itemized statement was wrong & they opted to charge me the extra funds for their mistake. 6. They committed fraud but quoting me the wrong insurance. I agreed with the costs bc they seemed appropriate, but because the treatment plan was so poorly done they robbed me my right to find adequate priced dental care. Basically they baited me & started charging whatever they wanted, regardless to the treatment plan. 7. The problem I was there for is not fixed. I have to pay another dentist to correct the same issue. They have no remorse; they do not care that even though they are significantly over charging me for something they didnt even do right. All I have to say is STAY AWAY from this chain!

These people are very unprofessional. They appear to never be on time with the appointments scheduled. I normally wait a half hour to 45 minutes before they decide to call me in for my cleaning. When I finally get in the chair, I have to sit and hear the personal conversations between the dentist and hygenist. They talk about anything from what they are doing on the weekends to complaining about their lives. Both the doctor and hygenist rush to get you in and out without paying any attention to their patients. The hygenist does not take the time to clean my teeth properly and I was left with built up plaque on the back of my teeth because she did not feel that it was important to clean apparently. I also started to feel discomfort and had a feeling that it was my wisdom teeth and informed the doctor. Doctor Fermin tells me that they are not coming in and doesnt even bother looking at them and rushes me out of his office. My orthodontist from a different location tells me that they were indeed coming in and that I would need to get them taken out. I had to make another unnecessary trip back to Doctor Fermin due to his carelessness, when he this issue could have been solved in that same day. Horrible Office I advise you to go to someone that I actually cares about their patients!

Ive been terrified of dentists for most of my life, avoided going like the plague... I was in need of an emergency root canal and ended up at the Clinton Twp Great Expressions location. Everyone there was friendly, helpful and my treatments were as pain-free as possible. Ive been back a few times over the past year and theyve consistently provided wonderful care and I couldnt be happier with their work. The staff is excellent and they do a quick and thorough job.

That dentist office is amazing, they make you feel welcome like youve known them for life! The doctor and his assistant took care of me and made sure I was good and had no discomfort with my new crown. I would recommend anyone to go to this great expressions because they go the extra smile...

My first visit here, so far so good. The whole staff was very nice and made me feel really comfortable ( Im over the top afraid of dentists ) . Dr. Fermin is very nice and helpful. No complaints.... I plan on sending my Daughter and brother here.
