I called for an appointment for my daughter and told them I could not tell if they took my insurance. They were very friendly and told me they would look up my insurance information and get back to me. They said I could cancel my appointment if they did not take my insurance but that I should make one anyway because they were so booked. My daughters appointment date came and I assumed everything was good because I hadnt heard from anyone. They took my daughter back for a cleaning while I stayed up front work to out the insurance information. I was lectured by several staff members that it was my responsibility to have found out about insurance beforehand. Sure, its my responsibility, but I wouldnt have left it up to them had they not volunteered. When they told me they couldnt determine whether or not I was covered, I asked them to not perform any work on my daughter to which they said they were already done. I ended up paying $244 out of pocket for my daughters cleaning and was told that I should follow up with my insurance company to see if they would cover anything.

My family have been patients for almost 20 years. WE LOVE Blue Ash Dental Group!!! The staff and doctors are so friendly & they do amazing work. Dr Detmer & Kathy did some cosmetic work on my daughters teeth after her braces came off & WOW the results are AMAZING!!!! Thank you for many years of excellent service!!!!

Dr Detmer, and Reynolds are fantastic. They worked with my busy schedule to streamline all the work I needed to get done. They were relaxed and professional but also gave a friendly, family touch. Tara my hygentist is amazing.. The front end staff work with you and your insurance company to make things easy.

Front desk staff, hygienist staff, and Dr. Detmer are all very friendly and helpful. Theyve always been efficient but thorough with my appointments. I love the new laser method for doing fillings without the need to numb me. I dont love going to the dentist, but they make it as painless as possible!

They will intentionally provide less estimates so you will take appointment . After that they will charge you 200% more with excuse that your insurance is not covering it

Do not go here. Their office looks nice, but the people arent. Dr. Detmer does not even bother to return phone calls and will not help you if there is any kind of problem.
