I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the WORST dentist office I have ever been to. Ive seen previous comments about the front desk staff but the dentists themselves are extremely unprofessional. I overheard the dentist who saw me making several inapropriate comments to the assistants. I made an appointment because I have a chipped tooth and cavity. The dentist didnt x-ray/ properly examine me and wanted me to come back for a proper examination and cleaning then schedule a root canal. I was in the back for less than 5 or 10 minutes then shoved out the door. The dentist and his assitants werent very friendly and completely ignored my quentions. There where several people in the waiting room all seen and shoved out the door within 20 minutes. The office doesnt look very clean either. I really dont see how Family Dental Care is still open for business. This is NOT the first time Ive had an extremely unpleasant experience with this establishment. The ONLY reason I can assume is that they are one of the only dentists in Tri County who accepts medicaid. What a shame that this is how the needy are treated.

DO NOT GO HERE! Made an appointment for an emergency visit. They were able to fit me in 4 days later. Confirmed insurance on the phone. Get to office on the day of my appointment, I wait an HOUR... finally someone speaks to me after signing in LITERALLY an hour ago. Fill out papers... turn them in. After 2 hours in the office they tell me they dont take my insurance. (Which I verified on my insurance website AND wih the lady taking the appointment.) Through the wait and the issue, I remained very calm. Office staff was very rude. But they had time to shove lunch in their face and talk about their holiday plans with each other. Aside from being unprofessional, unable to meet my needs, and a huge waste of time, the office was 100 degrees and everyone was sweating. Go somewhere else.

Very bad customer service, started when I tried to get an appointment, I literally called 10 times, every time I had to wait 15 - 20 mins and somebody either answer the call and ask me to hold again and call get disconnects OR the just get disconnects after 15 - 20 mins off hold. When I scheduled it , she gave me one time and recorded another time, so I got reminder call with another time than what I scheduled and when I try to clarify this, the lady was very rude and was yelling at me. when we go there waited for 45 mins , before they even call us in, in the room another 20 mins before somebody can see me.... NOT friendly staff at all. This is not the first time, is there place that we complain about this place.

The facility isnt bad and has some very modern equipment. The doctors and dental assistants are accommodating and easy to talk to. That said, its in a locale that brings in a lot of loud and obnoxious black people. During my last visit I had to endure the lip-smacking, soda-slurping, mouth breather family who couldnt wait to start eating their styrofoam take-out lunch while the 3rd member of their troop was "gettin they teeth did". The only thing more annoying than the 45 minute wait with their deplorable manners was the sound of the Moms (a lady in her late 40s) 500 hair beads that rattled around anytime she moved her head. Its a place you only go to 2-3 times a year and they do good work so I deal with it.

The receptionist was very rude and unfriendly (older lady). I asked her if I can make appointment she told I have wait 15-20 she has new patients to file an to have sit. The whole time I waited all she did was complain about other workers an how sick she of things. I was in a lot pain an couldnt talk well. She seen me waiting before I ask to make appointment an her customer service was a grade F....patients and customers deserve respect and courtesy no matter how crazy the situation maybe. I should have to wait 15-20 to make an appointment thats takes a few seconds at the most. Customer service is everything!

DO NOT schedule an appointment with this dentist. I have had my braces on for 4 years and 8 months of that I had no wire in my mouth. They hired a new Orthodonist and he was a little better. I was supposed to finally get my braces off today and the tri county office was CLOSED without letting any of us know. No voicemails, emails or text. I went to the Western Hills office and the desk lady had an attitude with me as if I was the one who didnt do my job. She now told me I have to wait another month until my next appointment. I will NEVER come back after my braces are off.

Vikki (says she is the office manager) is very rude, and had poor people skills. Probably because she doesnt care. They changed my appointment after I already scheduled off work and never called to ask me. She pretty much told me I had to get over it and make a new appointment. This was an emergency visit. She also pawned me off on other people. Beyond Vikki I feel like the two offices I have interacted with are a joke. One dentist smelled of alcohol and smoke. He was decently nice though.

I just had my teeth cleaned and x-rayed here for the second time. I waited about 10 minutes, and the whole ordeal only lasted an hour. It was, however, a snowy Wednesday afternoon, so it was not busy at all. The staff was friendly and qualified. The dental assistant did a very good job of cleaning my teeth. I was also here several years ago and had a similarly good experience.

Agree with others - very rude receptionist both on phone and in person. I waited almost 45 minutes to be seen. I showed up for my follow up and the office was closed. They said they didnt have my phone number written down correctly but had tried to get in touch with me to notify me. Very hard to get an appointment and with the rude, slow service I made my first visit my last.

Worst customer services ever wated for over an hour just to be told after 2 min they cant work on my daughter an wont even try. Vary not children friendly at all! An touch up on their people skills an service an wouldt hert to clean up the space sonetimes, really nasty all about. If I could I would of actually gave negative 10 stars.

This was the WORST experience. Arrived at 1145 after having my kids appointment changed several times to no one being in the office at all!!!! Then finally the employees show up at 12:10pm. 4 hours later Im still waiting for my kids to have their cavities finished. Ridiculous! They owe me a missed day of work!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible service from the lady at the front. Have waited over an hour to be seen and have even told the lady that I need to be at another apt by 530. She has a horrible attitude and was not helpful at all. I get it everyone has a bad day now and then but seriously?

Came in to get my kids teeth cleaned at 245. Waited for about 45 mins when I asked what was taking so long I was informed my sons appt wasnt until 315 and 400p. Why not just say that on the phone by the way were still waiting its 426. Never will I come here again
