My first experience was awesome. There was an agreement on the initial visit that one tooth will be extracted, but a actual dentist did not do my consultation. Im without insurance. When I returned, it turned out that 2 teeth desperately needed to come out. Being without insurance, I could not afford that. My first visit was on Wednesday, great visit. The Dentist was scheduled to extract today/Saturday . I have been in serious pain for awhile. Waiting to Saturday was disappointing but I guess the actual dentist that does extractions does not work until weekends? If I had known two teeth needed be extracted, I would have chosen Mercy or Grady. The young lady who greeted me today to enter the office had an unbecoming attitude(not the lady at the front desk), the dental assistant. I immediately smiled as I was entering and she seemed to have no interest in smiling or greeting me. I believe the attitude came from me not wanting to pay before I was clear on what teeth would be extracted. Once an actual dentist looked in my mouth, he tells me two must come out and I have a major infection. Earlier in the week, I was told I had a "little" infection and that one tooth can be extracted. The point of me paying $125 is to get an accurate consultation. Four extractions where recommended , but in the end we chose the tooth that was actually giving me pain. The other 3 they suggested are not bothering me. The tooth that actually is chipped and causing me MAJOR pain wasnt on the recommended list. Just all of my wisdom teeth. I am not trying to deter anyone, just giving my experience. Just make sure there is a clear understanding of what work will be done in the initial consultation. Lesson learned here. Shout out to the great dental assistant who helped me on Wednesday! She needs a raise! She actually made the place inviting and relaxing. GREAT customer service from her. I wish I remembered her name but shes the one with the personality;)

I went to see Dr. Clarke for a follow up for a tooth extraction a week ago. The extraction site has been swollen and hurting for the whole week . The lady at the front desk was very nice, but the dental hygienist Lisa Popp was very unprofessional by asking personal questions about my marriage status and other questions that had nothing to do with my appointment. I was told that I was snippy and I reminded her that I was a patient of Dr Clark, and that the personal questions arent needed. Afterwards, she did snatched my glasses off my shirt, and leaned me back in chair to take x-rays additional x-rays. I asked about the need for more x-rays after taking some the week before, which included the panoramic and bite wings x-ray. She did not verify any of the work done previously, and did not explain why they were being taken again. Duplicate x-rays, the gum evaluation with added poking of the extraction site was done, the cleaning was not complete. After the exam was done I asked for the chair to be placed in the upright position for since she appeared to be finished. Basically, the hygienist stormed out of the room, and complained of an attitude. I did not get to see the dentist. I dont appreciate the rude attitude of the staff and the lack of service from then dentist. I also didnt appreciate having to see another dentist and the emergency room for follow up and antibiotics because the dentist refused to perform a follow up. Shame on you Dr. Gloria Clarke you have definitely changed since I met you at Harlem Hospital in New York City

If I could give no star i would because this is very important to me. I have never done a rating before but this was Mandatory!!!!! Theses people have lied.They have roaches!!!! Eeewww what hospital let alone dentistry should have roaches in the office? They steal your money and give bad reports. Please I beg tou to go to God for the right place to go.I should have read the signs that My Great God was giving me but I count it all Joy.God has a purpose for everything.I am able to tell my brothers and sisters in Christ this is the enemies territory.So the short of the long is i walked out of there still in pain and gave $150 for a $20 prescription...you add that up.....FOR LACK OF WISDOM MY PEOPLE PERISH..I LOVE YOU ALL EVEN TO THE ONES THAT ARE AGAINST ME

I visited the dental clinic today and left very upset . First let me say the front desk was awesome they greeted me upon arrival and and made me feel welcomed especially the guy that works the front desk . Then Lisa the dental hygienist was " OUTSTANDING " she was very nice and welcoming so I already knew when it was time to meet the dentist that I would get the same service if her employees were that nice however I was wrong . DR CLARKE has no personality and didnt seem to care if I had questions nor did she bother to ask if I had questions she wasnt pleasant I kind of felt like was just another patient !!!!! I really enjoyed Lisa but sad to say I wont be back EVER !

I have been a patient at Greenbrier for about 3yrs. I went there with a serious bite problem that I did not even know that I had. But they corrected my problem and truly gave me a bright and genuine smile. Plus I found out that they have an in-house insurance plan that really helps with cleanings and other dental care. They also give back to the community with free dental services once per year. I dont understand why they dont have a long waiting list with the kind of friendly professional services they give. ptm

Who wants to go to the dentist? No one... or at least no one in their right mind (smile)! Anyway, I hate the sound of their drill. I hate the sight of their needles. I hate the vibration of their tools. Especially if they are intended for me! Well, my experiences here have been nothing less than great. They make you feel very comfortable, explain everything they are about to do and then offer you a set of headphones that plays XM Radio. Really! After your numb, you literally just relax listening to the music!

From the first time I called I knew that the experience would be great. I called and explained my problem and they were able to get me the next day. Not only are they friendly but they make you feel comfortable. For the first time in a long time I didnt have those butterflies that I normally get when I walk into the dentist office. I can honestly say I have found a new place to go not only for myself but for my family. 5 stars isnt enough for this place they need 20!!!! Thank you to the staff!!

Excellent!!!! I have very sensitive teeth and Lisa always makes sure I hardly feel any discomfort. This is the very first office in my life that I can recall that I am able to relax and know my pain will be managed and I rarely feel any after effects after the Amesthesia wears off. I truly admire the staff with its positive vibe and attitude every visit. You feel welcomed every visit. Thanks for the smiles when you experience dental anxiety like I tend to have.
