This practice has DESTROYED my familys teeth. There are a lot of positive reviews, and Ill agree with most of them: scheduling isnt too difficult, and they have reasonable hours. However, none of that matters when theyre incompetent. Ive had about four root canals, and my first one was when I was about 11 or 12-years old. Im currently 20, and I need a fifth for another filling they neglected to do properly. I care for my teeth, but its difficult when my enamel is so soft (poor genetics), so I cant blame them for that. But, what I CAN blame them for is improper practice techniques. My sister, who is 14, needed a root canal after they filled OVER a cavity. We were only aware of this when we moved to another dentist. My brother had an even WORSE experience that couldve cost him his life. Hes difficult to "numb," so they decided to use laughing gas. Im not aware of all the laws regarding consent in this setting, but he was 17-years old, and they didnt even ask his parents if it was okay. In fact, his parents werent even present! He had driven himself, and the staff had ALLOWED HIM TO DRIVE HOME on laughing gas. The lack of consent was one thing, but it was irresponsible of them to allow him to drive home WITHOUT telling him that it was unsafe. If you have healthy teeth, then going here will suffice. However, if your teeth are like mine, you may need to seek another practice. The staff (which, agreeably, act like teenage girls and talk to each other rather than acknowledge you) are incompetent. Im not sure if theyre over-drilling to fund their practice, but either way... theyre unethical. I had no issues with the previous owners, but we HAD to leave when they single-handedly destroyed all of our teeth and expected that we wouldnt "catch on." I just hope that theyll better themselves... for their patients sake.

After several years of excellent service with the former owner of this practice, our familys experience unfortunately took a turn for the worse with Dr. Leslie Nechvatal-Unelski and her staff. During what would ultimately be our familys final visit, our daughters technician has a "bedside manner" that was abrasive, forceful and absolutely unacceptable as she tried to jam an adult-sized tool into my tearful 9-year-olds mouth. When I asked if there were other (smaller) sizes available, she reluctantly searched for it and found one. Even more shocking, when I shared my experience and feedback with Dr. Nechvatal, she became defensive and the lack of leadership skills became very apparent. Also, the tech had the audacity to verbally slander the former owner, Dr. Busdeicker, by saying "I would never have let him come close to my mouth - he didnt know what he was doing." Who does that in a professional setting? Very disappointing. If youre looking for a best-in-class dental practice for your family in the West Chester/Cincinnati area, we suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty others who wont hurt your children, abdicate responsibility and bash other professionals in your presence.

I moved here from PA. Ive been to a lot of Dentists in my 59 years, but Leslie is absolutely the best dentist that Ive ever been to. I have had about 6 crowns from other dentists and Ive always had to return because they were too high or they would fall off and need to be cemented again. I would also experience some level of pain. I had no problems with Leslie, she has done 2 crowns so far with no pain, no issues and it is a perfect fit. I recommend her to anyone looking for a good dentist.

My experience with L.A.N.U. has been a positive one. The staff is very personable and friendly and knows me when I walk in. Vanessa in particular has been great. Dr. Nechvatal-Uhelski does not keep you waiting long at all. She is personable, thorough and competent. The office offers while you wait crowns so you dont have to make two trips to get a crown put on, which is very convenient. Ive had a good experience there.

I have found my hygienist, the front office staff and Dr. Nechvatal-Uhelski D.M.D . to be very friendly and professional. Billing seemed to be a problem in the past. However, with the new staff this is no longer an issue. The office is comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for a dentist in the West Chester/Liberty Township area.

Excellent Dentist and staff. I wouldnt go anywhere else. They have all the equipment to make crowns in the office without having to send off for them. Leslie is incredibly good at giving numbing shots without it hurting. I mean really. Ive been going to LANU dental since it first started and they are the best.

I was told both of my children had periodontal disease and she performed unnecessary root scaling on both of my children. Took them to another dentist and was told they had no gaps in their gums. Do not go to this office. She just wants to pad her books and wallet. If I could give zero stars I would.

From the office staff to the "in the chair" staff, my dental experience was just great. I didnt wait long, the tooth issue was resolved, and the checking out process was quick and pleasant. There are many dentists closer to my home but I will continue with LANU dental.
