The office was clean, staff friendly, and doctors knowledgeable. The reason they have been rated a 3 star is due to the lack of respect for patience time, otherwise would have been a solid 4. In brief: I arrived 10 minutes early, got called back 10 minutes late (20 minutes in the waiting area, 10 of which dont count), moved quickly through the X-ray process, sat in the hygienist chair for 20 minutes before talking to another person, had a very pleasant interaction with the hygienist who was very thorough, waited another 5-10 minutes for the doctor (again, very pleasant and thorough), and waited again (5 minutes) to be walked out after everything was all said and done. Out of a one hour and ten minute visit close to 40 minutes were spent sitting and waiting. I would call this moderately disrespectful, but is likely average among dental offices (which is sad). I recommend the office if you have the time...

The wait time total for this office is ridiculous. I have been to other smaller dental offices that had more patients (going by how many people were in the waiting room) that took significantly less time overall. Someone should tell these people that the patients shouldnt have to call off work just to have a routine cleaning. Also, they have told me on one visit that I have cavities and that I need to get the work done ($$$ for them), which I refused to get done because my teeth were not hurting. Fast forward to the next visit and my teeth were deemed by them to be just about perfect (with no change in dental routine). I just cant trust what they say. I guess when they need the extra money or maybe they have quotas to fill, but whatever the case may be, it is bad business. Avoid this dental office.

They do take their time first off. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was the last one there to touch my mouth. I found another dentist office altogether. I had gone awhile without seeing dentist after getting out of the army. My first visit there, all was good no probs. The next time they said I had 7 cavities, and while the hygienist was cleaning my teeth she poked/stabbed my gums and when I started tasting the blood I asked about it and was told that is what happens when you have bad gums!!! Which she started saying every other word after she stabbed me. Keep in mind that 6 months before that all was good. Found a new dentist and had 3 cavities not 7 and my gums are fine. Do not waste your time or money with these fools!! Never again will I go back!!

My son who is 11, has high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. After several failed attempts with his current dentist at that time, I decided to look for another place that would be more understanding of his feelings. After a recommendation from a close friend, I finally did! This time they were able to do everything, Kim was so patient and understanding (she even let him help her with the xrays), took things at his pace and for the first time since I can even remember he told me after his appointment it was the first best day of going to the dentist.. EVER!! Thank you so much to the staff and especially Kim... You are amazing! I feel so lucky to have found a place my son is happy to go to!!

Go elsewhere!!! I went to this dental office once for a routine cleaning only which I knew my insurance covered at 100%. I did not want any service outside what my insurance would cover at 100%. I explained this to the dental office when I made the appt and when I showed up for it. However, they decided to perform additional unnecessary xrays which were not covered by my insurance. When I approached the dental office about this, they denied any wrong doing. This company knowing ignored my request and acted fraudulently in order create more revenue for there practice. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for dental care, like Rogers Family Dentistry.

Ive been going here for a long time(over 10 years)and Ive never had a bad experience. My children go here too now, and they were great at making them feel comfortable. Ive never had to wait a long time in the waiting area personally, but maybe Ive been lucky. There is a long wait for appointments though, which is why I can only do 4 stars. But when I went today, they got me in again next Monday because I need an intense cleaning. That was helpful too. And we talked a lot about my insurance, costs, etc.

If youre a STUPID person and would like to be RIPPED OFF ($$$) and welcomed by unconcerned lying staffs, grumpy dentists and unprofessional receptionists, please come here! I was misled to this office and the worst thing, I saw the staff and receptionist fighting in front of patients just because of the information they cant update. Crap! This is the worst and horrible dental office Ive ever seen in my entire life.

There is only one other recent review so I must add. Friendly staff and sufficient basic dental care received. Waiting list for appointments can be from 2-4 months so schedule wayyyy ahead of time, I had to because they were one of few places that accepted my insurance that covered 100%. Going to a different dentist now because their waiting list for a routine appointment is up to August, its mid April.

This was horrible. I was there for a long time and no one had any respect for my time. No one was friendly. The dentist said I had 4 cavities, which I did not believe. I went to get a second opinion from a different dentist and I had NO cavities. All they want to do is make money and it operates like a factory.

I dont understand the negative reviews. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and timely. I had a pressing matter I needed taken care of quickly and they were able to see me the next day. I have delta dental, and my insurance covered a huge portion, and there were no surprises.

My dentist and dental hygienist were absolutely great! They were both friendly, caring, and patient. The dentist even went above and beyond and made extra time for my daughter in the waiting room who wanted to show off her wiggly teeth!

Able to get in same day for emergency appt. for cleaning/routine its about a 4 month wait tho unfortunately. Dr Akah is FANTASTIC!
