They are very reluctant to give you your prescription. When they finally do give you the prescription; Performance Vision Care will not give you the entire prescription. This is to prevent you from going elsewhere to find glasses at a reasonable price. The frames and lenses are extremely overpriced (even with most insurance plans) and they force you to go with them. It is more cost effective to find a place where they will provide you with a prescription and allow you to find less expensive glasses.

I came in complaining that I had sudden blindness in one eye earlier in the day. Without consulting the doctor the receptionist told me they didnt have time for a new client since they closed in 25 minuets and that I should go somewhere else. Sudden blindness can be very serious (its also frightening) so her statement is the least ethical thing Ive ever heard a medical professional say. Cant say how good the doctor is but I wouldnt trust my vision to someone who employs such callous individuals.

The staff is very unfriendly, unprofessional, and the customer service there is horrible. I wish I would have read these reviews before going there because I would NOT have purchased any eyeglasses there. I should have stuck with going to where I went before, these people are horrible there. I bet they wont be there long!!! And I bet I wont be going back there.
