(If I am able to give zero star, I will do that) The service at this Target Optical was very horrible. The optometrist, Dr. Hajira Shujaat, was the most unfriendly doctor I have ever met. When you paid about $70-80 for about 15 minutes for her service, her attitude was simply unacceptable. It is a shame that Target does business with this kind of doctor. Furthermore, I was very unhappy with the eye examination. It was not thorough enough, in my opinion. During the examination, she asked me to read the smallest letters on the screen with my left eye only (right eye was closed), then with my right eye only (left eye was closed). The problem I had was that she never asked me to read the letters with both eyes. When I addressed this issue, she said that it was not necessary. My common sense told me that it was necessary. She was the only eye doctor that I have gone so far that did not check my "reading" with both eyes opened. During the "reading" exam, she got upset with me because I repeatedly told her that the letters were very blurry. Later she figured out that the lense on the instrument (phoropter) was foggy. What an ignorant doctor! This is the only time I have had trouble with eye doctor. Note: I have been wearing glasses for at least 15 years. As of today, I am not wearing the glasses. I tried to wear it for about a week, but I got headache every time I worn the glasses. I will get another eye exam from a different eye doctor in January. When I asked the doctor (after the exam), she said the measurements were a little changed. However, when I asked about the measurements when picking up my glasses, the measurements were actually the same as my previous/old glasses. The only different was the shape of my eyes (I do not recall the exact words I was told). It sounded not right to me. That is why I wanted to get a second opinion from a more reliable eye doctor. As for the glasses, Target Optical has very limited options. I will never come back to Target Optical, especially to this unfriendly, ignorant optometrist.

The doctor was spot on with my prescription, which is a first for me in a chain store. The wait was actually shorter than the "expected" time I was told. The first member of the staff that helped me was nice enough, but knew very little about the job/department (could have been new, who knows). However, the gentleman, whose name evades me right now, that has helped me since definitely knew his department and was very helpful. The only slight I have is the price was a bit excessive. This may have been the first staff member not knowing the specials, or it may have been my own fault for missing the specials. What I do know is the first staff member offered an "expedited" service for a small fee (less than $20). Mind you, it was a Friday and I was promised the glasses would be in by that Monday with the "expedited" service... and that was clearly not going to happen. Though I did purchase the service hoping it would take less than the 7 to 10 days I was quoted without the service. When I went into the store 8 days later to find out if my glasses were in, as I had not received a text, the gentleman informed me there was no "expedited" service offered and refunded the money. Side note, the glasses were in. I was told a text was sent, but I hadnt received one. Oddly enough, I received a text saying my glasses were ready about 3 hours after I picked them up. Not bad, but not great...

There are people in this world that exude kindness and compassion thats solely taught to them and then their are people in this world like Dr. Hajira whose entire embodiment is kindness and compassion and their mission on earth is to help people. If you are reading his Dr. Hajira from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being you. You made it so comfortable to sit and talk about all things regarding optical health and awareness. Ive never laughed so much over the word "heartburn" that also metaphorically parallels how we as young adults feel invincible with our bodies and health and as time progresses the importance of taking care of yourself becomes a necessary priority. She understood that we as humans are not perfect and we sleep in our contacts and her compassion to helping me become less ignorant and less negligent to my optical health will last forever. I seriously cannot thank you enough.

These people dont know what theyre doing. Staff treats you like youre stupid and furthermore charges you for things that the other optical centers have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. Does your eye insurance usually cover everything? No. Here are some breathing fees. Here are some fees for walking on our carpet. Oh you need glasses? Let me charge you $20 on top of the exam for telling you that you need glasses. Please save your sanity and go somewhere else.

First they tell me they take my plan. Then a guy with very nasty customer service skills tells me they do not take it for the exam and acted completely rude. I called back later to cancel the appointment and he hung up on me. Please either give this guy Ross some classes of customer service or fire him. I am so disgusted right now.

Fast and efficient. Could use a little more in the customer service department. Leilani was under friendly and helpful, the other guy was very short and brusque if you asked a question. The eye doctor has no personality and does nothing whatsoever to be friendly with younger patients. Lesson learned, go elsewhere.

Love the optometrist! Second time Ive been here and my glasses are always perfect! Staff worked with me in price and insurance. Very satisfied. Only one employee to work the front, answer phones and help with exam and glasses so sometimes you have to be patient but worth the wait.

The eye examiner was nice but her staff sucks with customer service skills. Made an appointment online but when I get there they claim I did not make it. Was very pissed I will not come back here again. And will be reporting them to my vision insurance company.

The worst customer service ever! Twice in a row we make appointment and we show up they tell us the Dr. had to leave. I will never go back for any reason.
