Warning: Once they have your money, initial compassion turns to rude indifference! A month ago Dr. Cohn performed a dental cleaning/extraction on my 16 year old cat. He came home with terrible and bizarre reactions/side effects...including explosive diarrhea which still hasnt resolved (another vet just put him on steroids to treat it). When I called Purrfect Care to inquire about his reactions I was essentially scolded and impatiently told I shouldve read his discharge papers. I had, but there was merely a single sentence or two about the possibility of a reaction. I guess they dont want you calling with any questions; however, his reactions were beyond strange such that MedVet recommended a same night ER visit at 2am. When Purrfect Care learned I took him to MedVet, they were offended vs. concerned. A few days later his IV site became sore, painful and inflamed. I reluctantly called back for insight. Again, I was treated awful. I was actually blamed for his symptoms being told his leg was sore because I "aggravated his arthritis by taking him to MedVet" ??? When I tried to explain that it wasnt his arthritis/joints but the throbbing red injection site which was bothering him, I was talked down to, talked over and treated as a nuisance. I was so hurt and said, "I dont understand the reason for the negativity in the responses Im receiving...I though you said I could call with questions, but now Im being treated as a nuisance. Would you prefer I find a new vet?" (Id just spent over $800 on services and only called twice with questions). I was told..."Well, if you think thats best..." They never even called to check up on my cat after his surgery and complications. I told my new vet about this experience. They werent surprised and indicated it wasnt the first time they had heard of this kind of treatment of pets/their owners from this vet/office.

I love this veterinarian and I love the staff at this office. The entire staff is kind and courteous and Dr. Cohn is one of the kindest cat veterinarians Ive met! Her compassion for felines and their owners is evident and sincere. I appreciate how patient she is with each of my cats and how she doesnt rush them. The office is a perfect set up for cats - a calm and quiet waiting room and each patient room is designed with cats in mind. I couldnt be more pleased!

Dr. Cohn is so compassionate about cats. She was there for me as I put my 19 yr old cat to sleep and again when I got a new kitten. She is dependable. Her office staff are top notch. I would recommend her to everyone.
