I started going to Colonnade shortly after I moved to Lancaster due to some stomach problems. I saw Dr. Schorr and he told me to keep trying otc stomach meds. When I called back to let him know it wasnt working he said he would call in something to help my stomach. The next day the pharmacy still hadnt heard from the doctor. I called and the nurse told me that they have up to 5 days before they have to call it in. By the time he called it in my stomach was much better and I didnt need the meds. A few months later I started having stomach problems again and he ordered blood work and a gallbladder ultrasound. He told me he would call me with the results. Of course my insurance was charged and I called 3 times without a returned phone call. Again the problems eventually went away so I assumed that the results must have been fine. The symptoms are back so I went to get my records because there is NO WAY I would trust my dog with this practice let alone to figure something out that isnt obvious and of course...they said first that they never got the results then a few minute later said oh yes they had them but never called me because they looked fine. I like to cut people a break because I know everyone has off days but this is ridiculous. Now I am going to find a different practice to figure out what is going on. The nurses were rude and the doctors were clueless. Not one visit I had at this place was positive. DO NOT GO HERE

Quite an anomaly. I have been a patient for about a decade. Doctors seem highly respected and competent. This review is not a reflection on them but on the office management. Staff seems to have highs and lows, perhaps because of the atmosphere created by management. Office management could not be worse. For example, I called and the recorded message allows you to go to scheduling, lab, etc., etc. No matter what selection you make, you do not receive personal care. They do not answer the phone. You are to leave a message and they are supposed to call you back. I called at elevenish and left a message. Later, I tried a different extension and left another message. Its been days and nary a phone call. Perhaps the office manager does not know how to manager the office? The phone is the major channel through which business communication with patients and the public is conducted and this business seems decidedly anti-social. Doctors and staff of Colonnade - can you fix this situation? If the problem can be rectified, I would be pleased to modify my review. Thank you.

I have been with Colonnade Medical Group (on Sheridan Drive in Lancaster, OH.) for several years now. I find the staff to be cooperative and compasionate. They all do their jobs well and always cheerful. I have been to three of the doctors with the practice, Dr. Meleiotes is great and listens to you. He always has a plan to get you feeling better. Dr. Hendrickson has a great bedside manner and is truly interested in his patients. Dr. Edwards is a straight forward physician and gets right to the root of any problem. They meet all of my medical needs.

Front office staff at check in not good at all. Abrupt, condescending at times. If your just scheduling usually no problem. If you call to ask specific questions about a visit or information you didnt receive,etc. they tend to become defensive and rude. If you ask what the cost will be for certain tests beforehand, everyone there seems to look at you like your cheap or something. Husband and I started coming here 3 yrs ago. Hes ready to find another office, as am I.

the medical staff at this medical center just outside of lancaster should go to a training on compassion they are rude and if certain persons have bad days look out you become the target and the dr. will not listen to you he takes their word and discharges the person so they can be extremly rude and out of line and you pay the price !!! wouldnt stop to help fix a flat!!!

Very unfriendly office management. I have been seeing dr Hampton for 15 yrs and do to the office staff i will never go back there. Wouldnt take my dog there for a flea bath!
