I got Bubby when he was 5 weeks old that was 13 years ago... This was where I took him for care...for over 11 years..but at his weakest point this office of so called compassionate employees and medical personal..failed him and myself. ...Bubby was an Akita and 100 pounds. Monday he could not stand up..I knew it was his time. I just wanted him to be comfortable. I called the Lorain animal clinic to see if the vet could come to my home and see bubby..They said they would call me back...I waited and waited...(Now mind you..I have always paid my bill and brought my animals to this clinic..$ couple thousand $ worth)..I finally called back ..well Dr woods is out of town and Dr Hudson was too busy after hours.. so they would call me first thing tues morning...well no call so I called and the girl who took my info the day before called off sick and there was nothing documented about Bubby..so went over the story again...they said they would call back...they never called and still havent called..I called Douds Veterinary Hospital that afternoon.. Their Dr said he would cancel a few appoints and be right over..This man had never even treated my pet...thats true compassion...Dr woods office should take lessons from them!! ...

My moms dog Zoey got very sick and collapsed. I took her in and explained what had happened. Dr. Hudson saw her right away. A mass that filled her abdominal cavity was found. Dr. Hudson came in early on a Saturday morning to do the surgery. A 1lb tumor was removed. I was kept informed and invited, along with Mom to visit with Zoey and bring her food from home to get her to eat. She is still being treated. The office girls, the kennel staff, as well as Dr. Hudson, treated us and Zoey like family. I like the walk in policy, as you are guaranteed being seen if you get there before they close, no waiting for an open appt.. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is, although I didnt experience anything negative, there is always something to improve. I know mom will continue to take her Zoey there and I will start taking my babies there as well...

Service is average and better when you have an appointment so you do not have to wait all day. They do not allow you to make payments, which is the only downside especially if something detrimental comes up with your animal. We boarded our dogs there and while on vacation they caught that one had gall stones and called us on vacation and took care of it immediately! We have taken our animal other places for Boarding and it seemed better and cleaner from what glimpse I was able to see. Lorain Animal Clinic forgot to lock the crate on our animal, who got out and got into a scuffle with another animal. Then was sarcastic about the encounter which was unprofessional and unappreciated. We only take our dogs there for their vaccines .(convenience of location).. in and out... We tend to board them elsewhere, if we have to board them.

Took my dog in to see dr woods because she was vomiting. She has diabetes and thought something may have been wrong with her. She walked in on Thursday stayed all day for a curve and was told just high sugar. Friday took her in again they did a curve and said shes fine just high sugar. This time she couldnt walk very well and was very tired. Saturday morning wake up and she passed away through the night. I strongly believe dr wood did not know what he was doing and he is the reason she died. She walks in Thursday and can barely walk on Friday, then dies Saturday all while he said she was perfectly fine and healthy. Dr Hudson is a good doctor and should definitely start her own buisness. But as for dr wood say clear of him if you love your animals.

Fast walk-in service at a fair price. I had some numpty vet that told me ny overweight cat wasnt something we had to worry about until she was 25 pounds (shes about 14) so I was like "Well oky, good." The more I thought about it though, the dumber that is. You should always treat weight problems BEFORE they get too big, plus she already cant clean her own butt from being too fat so the vet clearly was not on the top of his game and I am not really comfortable going there again after getting such a terrible and useless diagnoses on my cats weight.

Dr. Hudson has provided great and reasonable care for my dogs. One of my dogs was diagnosed with cancer (and an inoperable tumor) and Ive found that while other businesses may try to guilt you into thousands of dollars worth of tests and unnecessary (potentially unethical) procedures, I know I can trust that wont happen here. When you really love your terminally ill pet, it means a LOT for someone to recognize that, provide reasonable treatment options, and tell you that you are doing a good job! I will be going here from now on.

Everyone at Lorain Animal Clinic was AMAZING! The compassion and warmth everyone had for my Raelin was incredible. Even though she went on to find the Rainbow Bridge you guys made her journey a beautiful one. You treated us with the upmost respect, honesty and cared so much for Raelin, I will forever be great-full. Thank you for every thing! I will highly recommend Dr. Falbo and her technicians to everyone!

I have used this veterinarian office for a couple years now. They are friendly and the facilities are clean. The staff seemed knowledgeable and they have been helpful when I have questions. I wish they would be more upfront about the pricing. I called on the phone one time and was given one price and then it was more expensive in the office so that bummed me out. Will keep using their services.

Dr. Woods was excellent and sympathetic. He also was cheaper than any vet in the area. My dog had to be euthanized because of aggressive lymphoma. Dr. Woods was honest and caring. Best vet i have ever been to. Doesnt try to profit off euthanasia. Staff was helpful and understanding.
