Nothing inherently wrong with this place, they didnt abuse my animals or anything I have no complaints about the care my complain is they wanted me to test my dogs for everything under the sun just because of the slim-to-no chance they may have such-and-such problem at some arbitrary point in the future. It all added up very quickly and their prices were pretty expensive - felt more like going to a sleezy mechanic trying to nickle-and-dime me for every possible problem with my car. Felt very pressured to have all of these tests done - "Well sir if you dont get this test done your pet could die tomorrow, a month, or 10 years from now - but if you dont love your dog I totally understand." (I exaggerate a little but that is the tone it felt like they were expressing to me) Literally, I mentioned that I occasionally take my dog for a hike on a nearby trail and the vet wanted to run a special blood test for a specific disease that dogs occasionally (like 1 in a thousand chance) contract while walking in the woods. When all was said and done I was up $200 per dog - the only reason I brought them in that day was to get a pre-dental exam, that was it!!! Dont get me started on the quote for the dental work!!! To top it all off and just to twist the knife a little more they charged me a 20% service fee just to process the credit card I was using!!! Very expensive place that seems to be more concerned about the amount of money they can get out of you than your pets health.

This past Thursday, Buddy, my moms golden retriever, got caught in part of our fence and ripped part of his ear open. I frantically called Foothills at 5:00 PM- they told me to come in ASAP. As soon as I arrived, they rushed Buddy into the back and immediately attended to him. They were able to sedate him and suture his ear, as well as his paw, which had also been cut in the process of him trying to free himself. Every single person, from the wonderful ladies up front, to the amazing veterinary assistants, and both Dr. Brown and Dr. Duncan, were all so supportive, kind, attentive, and sympathetic. Every one of them stayed until 7:00 PM to ensure that Buddy was attended to. I will forever be a client of Foothills. They TRULY care about animals, and were so quick and willing to help my situation, despite the fact that their office was closing for the day when I called. Thank you to EVERYONE who assisted Buddy and made sure that he was well taken care of. He is doing so much better and is on the mend, thanks to every single one of you!

When we first moved to Greenville, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this Vet in their small location. Everyone talked to my animals like they were somebody and none of my pets have ever hated going there. We had a senior dog, Bossman, that they treated and without Dr Randall, I dont know if he would have lasted as long as he did. They were very sympathetic for us when we had to put him down. Three years ago, we rescued a little kitten. They didnt think he was gonna make it, but they saved him, a lot of help from Dr Brown. He got sick one day recently, we brought him in without an appointment, Dr Duncan did surgery on him the same day. He is now home and comfortable. She explained everything to us. I trust them all. Stacey is the best and has always been friendly and helpful. They all truly care and treat my babies like family. Thank you all.

If youre researching for a vet, as we were about 18 months ago, you can stop your search. The doctors are sincerely concerned and very thorough. The communication is understandable and they actually listen to all you have to say. The staff is as close to excellent as you can get. Appointments are available quickly when needed quickly. The exams are thorough and the cost is more reasonable than most. We suspect theyre in this business because they truly care and love the animals and have little concern about the money they make. We are so fortunate to have found this Veterinary Hospital. You wont be disappointed AT ALL, so give them a try. Food is available if your pet needs special diet. Grooming is also available at such good prices we feel guilty if we dont give them a tip! Weve taken our dogs 3-4 times for grooming they do a great job.

Ive brought my dogs here a couple times since moving to Greenville back in September and overall I am just not impressed. At my previous vet, if I was charged for an exam, my vet actually examined my dog (eyes, ears, teeth, listen to heart, check body, etc) but here they charge $43 for an "exam" and that apparently only covers looking at the specific spot at issue. When I said I thought my dog was having some issues with her ears, the vet just flipped back her ear and said they were fine without actually looking down in the ear canal. I was back a couple weeks later because my dog had an ear infection and had to pay for an "exam" again. They seem nice enough at this office but I am just not comfortable with the level of care given to my pets so I will be going elsewhere.

LOVE FOOTHILLS!!! We bring our five dogs and a cat to them. We recently moved out in the country and were left with wild cats .I caught one and they let me bring her in and leave her and spayed her the next morning. My husband went to pick her up and they forgot her pain medicine so Sherry went out of way an hour or so to meet me with the pain medicine after she got off work. This is the reason I LOVE FOOTHILLS! They ALWAYS take care of my animals! I feel like everytime I walk in they roll out the red carpet... (STACEY) LOL Love all of yall see you soon with another wild catch!

Foothills Veterinary Hospital has the BEST and FRIENDLIEST, CONCERNED staff of any vet weve ever visited. Dr. Randall did surgery on our 12-year old dog, Josh - surgery on his back leg in November and the other back leg in January. He has made a remarkable recovery. Not only does Dr. Randall take time with you to explain everything, he has compassion for the family. ALL the staff is outstanding - on the phone and in person. We are most thankful and blessed to have them care for our pet! The Craven Family

Took my dog to foothills today because she cut her foot open ended up needing staples but foothills dod not provide care for my dog. The lady at the desk told me they where much to busy to see my dog even though she was bleeding all over the office. I had to take my bleeding dog back to car across town to another vet who I had never been too and they provided very good care and they where busy as well. I still cannot believe the lady saw my dog bleeding all over the floor and turned me away.

My 95 lb. dog tore his CCL (ACL). There were few options in the Upstate, & I was thrilled when I found Dr. Randall & found a better option (TTA) at a fair price. He is a knowledgeable vet that truly cares. 7 weeks after the 1st surgery, my babys other ACL tore...just bad genes in a big rescue dog. They worked him in quickly, & my boy is almost 100% 6 weeks post the latter surgery. Such a caring staff that helped me to help my Jack! Thank you all!
