I went to this place three times before switching to Valrico Animal Clinic. The first two times the staff was rude. I figured it didnt matter if the staff was rude as long as the Dr was good so I went back again. The third time, I boarded my dog and when I came to pick her up she had bite marks on her nose. I asked about it, the staff looked puzzled, looked at my dogs nose then told me it was because she was rubbing her nose against the cage door... I said that the marks looked like bite marks and they said no no no no it wasnt. I took my dog else where and had them look at her and they confirmed it was bite marks on her nose. If I was told up front about what happened it would have been forgiven. How am I supposed to trust that my dog is being given proper care if I discover I have been lied to, what else would they lie to me about? When I called back to tell them about what the other vet had said about the marks, they said "Well, you should have brought her back so we could have looked at her." Why? So I can be lied to again? No thanks. I told them I would never be back.

One of our old dogs was diagnosed (diabetes) incorrectly at another vet & as a last resort we took him to Suncoast on the advice of a family friend. Dr Arceneau got him straightened out & added another happy year to his life. Later, both our dogs became feeble & miserable & we had to put them down. The entire staff of Suncoast was very kind, took the time to explain everything & even let us exit thru a side door to avoid the people in the waiting room. We were both very emotional. That was a couple years ago. Recently, we brought our new rescue dog in for her annual & everything was perfect. Dr Arceneau is the best vet in Brandon & so is his staff!

We went here for about a year before moving, including one of our cats being diagnosed with FeLV and eventually put to sleep. The front desk ladies were polite, but we really appreciated the vet Dr A (cant spell his name). He has a very natural calming presence with the animals. Hes not an assertive vet, but we appreciated his peaceful demeanor with our two cats, one who was terriefied of all vets in the past, including cats-only clinics, and she was comfortable with him.

I had to push for a blood profile, he wanted to medicate without finding out what could be wrong. Just dismissed by thoughts. Asked why "I am so concerned with my dogs health and not my own". Very unprofessional. Called and let me know results were in. Left voicemail. Went in to pick them up and was "busy" so couldnt go over them with me. So I paid $155 for blood work and now Im at home googling the results. Terrible.

Dr. Arceneau is the best vet Ive ever had. He always takes as much time as necessary to discuss my pets needs, im never rushed. He always closes with is there anything else or do you have any other questions. The fees are reasonable and he also takes time to help you if you have Pet Insurance with the forms. I have 3 dachshunds and would not ever think of going anywhere else.

Great Veterinary Office doctor and staff are wonderful and friendly. My boxer had cancer and with the doctors care for Ozzy he is back home and doing great. My daughter got a puppy Bella and now we will only bring her to Suncoast Veterinary Clinic. They answer all your questions, and make sure you understand what your dogs needs are. This vets office is a huge rip-off. I was charged for my dogs ear infection drops but then the vet also charged me an extra $20 because he showed me how to use it, even though he never mentioned the fee. The vet also never used gloves, even though he was dealing with bacteria, then takung care of some other animal. Yuck! Horrible desk staff too!

One of our dogs is a challenge for any veterinarian, but Dr Arceneau has worked with us to provide the best of care! Recently Dr A went well above and beyond the call of duty to examine our very ill dog from our car. If youre looking for professionalism, reasonable fees, and care for your pet, I highly recommend Suncoast Veterinarian!

Ive been taking my Jax here for over a year. I think the vet is very personable and realistic. He informed me not to waste my money on things I thought my dog needed. Ive done price comparisons and found their prices comparable to the Humane Society, military base vet and definitely cheaper than most local vets.

Very busy office.. very efficient and well run. Very nice and helpful. Very professional. We took our cat "Sweet Pea" there today for some festering ear-mite issues. We will use them again.
