Doctor Cross is amazing! I have a guinea pig and had been searching for a specialist to have him fixed. I must have driven receiptionsts crazy with all the questions I asked (how many have you operated on, what drugs do you use, how long will this take etc etc) This place was the first to call me back with information. The exam fee was a little higher than what other places were asking for, but I figured why not. Its just an exam. When I met Doctor Cross she examed Twix just like a certain website I use as a medical guide described. She even confirmed for me that my pig is blind - he has bilateral catratcts to be exact! As much as he need a to be fixed, she said she wanted to do some research before she could say he was a healthy candidate for surgery. In my book this to me is the ideal doctor for your exotics - shes not interested in making a quick buck off of him and is interested in his welfare. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in a heart beat, and Im considering bringing the rest of my pets over here for care!

Absolute thieves with zero conscience. Brought my cat in they said it would be $800-$1200 in testing to see what was wrong then held on to him behind the counter till I paid there $79.00 minimum for looking at him. I raced out to Medina to our family vet he immediately stated "I dont need testing hes obviously been poisoned ..probably insecticide. He said the symptoms should be clear to anyone with training! He was injected w charcoal and meds costing $84.00. Worst part is that I worry that damage was done to his organs in the time wasted because I would not pay there ransom. People like this should be put out of business

We have been taking our cats to Dr. Shaw for 25 years - there is nobody better! Anybody who knows him and have entrusted their animal to him knows how much he cares about animals. For those who complain about the cost - you get what you pay for. Dr. Shaw and his staff are the best, bar none! I live an hour away now, and whenever there is a medical problem that is more than minor we go to nobody but Dr. Shaw. You can call him anytime, and he gets back to you. He has even had me drop my pet off at his house in the morning to make my day easier. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

The doctors and staff at Broadview Animal an Bird Hospital are top-notch! They care for around 30 rescue animals I bring them per year and are incredibly knowledgeable about the many ailments and injuries these dogs have. The clinic is run very professionally and the health and well-being of the animals is their top priority. I would recommend them to anyone! I have even had some adoptive families of my foster dogs change from their original vet due to the wonderful care their adopted dog received at Broadview Animal and Bird Hospital!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We called because our pet was very ill and unresponsive. The website says they do emergency care however when we called the vet tech was incredibly rude, wouldnt even give us the time of day and insisted we make an appointment several days away. Meanwhile, my pet is dying. If you care at all about your pet, take them to a vet that also cares. Our wonderful bird is more than likely going to pass away because of denial of care. Thanks, guys!

I cannot say enough good things about this team! We sought them out to assist us in saying good bye to our much loved Heath. They were very compassionate, respected our privacy, and explained everything that would happen. They provided 3 options on what to do with his remains, and we opted to have him cremated. They work with Paws Awhile in Richfield, which seems to be another wonderful organization. I agree that "you will not find a more loving staff"!!!!

We really like the Broadview Animal Hospital, the doctors are top notch and the staff is very accommodating. We have been taking our cats there for years. Our latest kitten (Frannie) does not even get stressed out when we bring her in for a nail trimming. Everyone that works at the Broadview Animal & Bird Hospital is so kind and their prices are not out of line. Please keep up the good work and thank you for all your great service.

Today I had to get my little dachshund in quickly for an exam related to what I thought was a tooth abscess. The staff was so accommodating and Dr. Perry and Amy were great with my dog during the exam. They took the time to explain all my options with treatment and I walked out extremely satisfied. Dr Shaw is fabulous. He has taken care of our dogs for years, and is very caring. He shows you exactly what is going on with your animals. The staff is also very friendly and caring. I would recommend highly.
