I love to support businesses that not only do a great job at delivering their core services - what brings people to them in the first place - but that go the extra mile to consider what comforts to add, to keep those customers coming back - building loyalty. And I dont just mean material comforts. I decided to switch dentists after several years with Kaiser Dental and Cornelius Dental. The transfer went through pretty easily. It required having to use the fax machine at work though... :) but Im sure I couldve mailed in, dropped off, or filled them out in the lobby the day of my visit. But having all the paperwork done ahead of time is a benefit for all involved. All it took was a phone call to Shannon, the office manager.. finding a date and time that would work..and she emailed me a Welcome Packet - which consisted of the usual Patient Info/Insurance, Medical History, Questionnaire, Financial agreement, and Consent form. They also include the Notice of Privacy Practices (but who really reads those?). This process could use an all online method in the future. Bubbling in no 75 times in the list of diseases for Medical History was tiresome. :) Their waiting area is comfortable, with the latest copies of the 2 local newspapers the Oregonian and Forest Grove Leader. Their 360 degree Xray machine was cool. Much better than having to bite ahold of a sensor while taking individual snapshots of different sections of teeth. The machines arm just travels around you while you bite down on a disposable piece of plastic. When DaiLene the hygenist was examining my teeth and gum lining, she had a helper assisting... entering all her measurements as she went along... and later presented her findings to me as we discussed my brushing/flossing habits and recommended treatments. My favorite part was the use of a camera on a wand..that tied into my dental record. When the dentist came in he presented the problem areas and suggested ways he could address them. The process and the tools of having pictures taken really helps in the conversation of treatment. Being able to say "Here, let me show you whats going on..." and putting things in laymens terms goes a long way into feeling youre getting quality care. Their office has Wifi, secured with a password they share with their patients. The rooms have a TV with a dozen channels or so. And the patient has Command of the remote. A separate remote for the volume though. Haha. When I was having my fillings done I also had the option for headphones for listening to Pandora stations. Very cool. Aside from all these comforts Ive mentioned above, what I appreciate most about this office is how youre made to feel welcome. Theyre there to provide a service, yes, true professionals, yes, but you come away with an experience that you leaves you happy that youve found them. In my case, I was referred there by a good friend thats been with Dr. Burbano for years. Now I know why.

I love this wonderful dentist and his staff. He is comprehensive and proactive. The support staff is talented, knowledgeable and friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pacific Ave Dental. I have had a great deal of dental work on the East and West Coast. This is by far the best place I have ever been a patient at. I had a tragic accident on July 3rd few years ago. I knocked teeth out and split my front lip. I walked into Dr. Burbanos office at closing time. The dentist and staff stayed late into the evening, forgoing their personal lives and plans, in order to stitch my lip and get me a set of temporary teeth for the long holiday weekend. They are kind, considerate an comprehensive. Dr. Burbano works with many talented professionals who accentuate the general dentistry practice when more complicated work is needed.

I dont often write reviews. But I was compelled to this time. Dr. Burbano is a very talented clinician. He also has a heart of gold. I am a pediatric dentist in the Beaverton and Hillsboro area. One day I asked him to help a young adult who had gone through rigorous cancer treatments. And as a result it severely damaged his teeth. He needed a complex full mouth reconstruction. Without asking a single question nor expecting anything in return. He said he would help and did everything pro bono. Dr. Burbano helped bring this patient back to health and has forever changed his life by giving him a beautiful smile again. Dr. Burbano is class act! Thank you for all you do! Hai Pham, DMD

Im a dental lab technician and I get to work with many dentists, Dr. Burbano is who I choose for myself and my family, that should tell you how good he is. For someone who has hated dental visits from the time I was very young, everyone from the receptionist staff to the hygenist to the dentist goes the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. 5 stars does not mean I love the dentist.. I is just that I would not go anywhere else if I could help it.. I still dislike going to the dentist!

Dr. Burbano and his assistant Brittney were great, and very comforting while getting a tooth pulled. I have severe anxiety and they made sure i was very comfortable the entire time. They also did a great job and were in and out in less than 10 minutes once they started.
