I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lindsey and his staff. I am 2 years new to micro-town living but my kitty actually gets in his carrier when it is time to visit the vet. This let me know there was no trauma associated with the visit. Then I adopted a half feral stray that showed up under my car looking horrible. Starved, patches of fur missing, pretty beat up and not trustful of humans or other animals. He HATED being touched but he needed to be neutered. I dont know how he managed it but Dr. Lindsey and his team managed to get the procedure completed and even smiled at me when I picked him up. (Yes I still have him!) Then there was the tooth extraction. Again, Dr. Lindsey and his team came to my rescue and never batted an eye. Their prices are fair...actually better than fair and the quality of care is unparalleled. Dr. Lindsey has seen it all...cats, dogs, horses an who knows what else! He has been open forever and I hope he never stops practicing. Do yourself a favor...if you need a vet, call Central Veternary. (Nope...they did not pay me to say any of this but maybe I will get an extra piece of candy from the bowl next time I visit!

I have so many good things to say about these guys. I had my dog Ben for many years. He got sick and had tumors growing in his mouth and neck. They were super caring and removes them quickly at a cost that was beyond reasonable. When it was time to let him go (the cancer spread to his lungs) they were amazing about treatment options and ultimately ending his suffering. He was creamated and I wasnt able to pick up his ashes for months. I just couldnt bring myself to do it. They held into him until I was ready. Yesterday my cat went in for an eye infection that ended up being a pretty bad ulcer. He was immediately rushed in for surgery and kept overnight. Ill be picking him up today with high hopes that the surgery was a success. If you are looking for affordable, timely animal care this is The place. I wouldnt take my babies anywhere else.

Weve been taking our pets to Central Veterinary Hospital since I was child, and have trusted Dr. Lindsay since he took over the practice many years ago. The clinic does not have a posh, spa-like setting... but our dogs dont seem to care and frankly neither do we. What we do care about -- and receive -- is professional care from an experienced veterinarian and his caring, friendly staff. Our concerns are taken seriously, but weve never felt as if wed been sold an unnecessary service, procedure, or medication. Friends have told us they pay two to three times what we do for far less personal care, which only strengthens our appreciation of our hometown vet.

Horrible, for starters they all acted like they never heard a dog bark and continued to tell me how aggressive our dog was and how he should NEVER be around kids... I have 3 kids and we have NO ISSUES. hes a sweetheart. Then the vet didnt do ANYTHING besides barely look at one spot on his back and said he has fleas. Didnt even bother to address any other issues we had. They were very rude!! I will NEVER go back. They made us put him in our car. I swear these people act like theyve never been around a dog before!!

I havent even taken my 20yr old tomcat in to the office yet and already the staff has been incredibly helpful and compassionate, providing more info on a 5min. Call to set up appt. than the last quack vet did in an entire visit. Im new to the small town but already super pleased with the service. Also they were able to provide a estimate for services which no other vet will do, and the prices are phenomenal. So awesome.

this Vet has killed my puppys mother and her litter by using an anesthetic that is contraindicated for use in pregnant dogs! This Vet is not qualified to practice veterinary medicine and should be barred from practice. Do Not use this Vet !!!!!!!! This vet does not deserve even one star !

Absolutely no bedside manners and dragged my dog in while she had a clip embedded in her paw trying to make her walk! Dropped her off the table after she had been sedated. Very rude and inconsiderate. I would not have gone had it not been an emergency and his being the closest vet.

Weve been going to this vet for over 20 years and he has saved our dogs life when other vets said it was time to put her down because there was nothing they could do. Doctor found out she had been poisoned and helped nurse her back to health. I love this place.

Dr. Lindsey is awsome. He saved my minpins life when all other vets were more interested in making a buck?? He also assisted my baby girl kitty when her cancer took over. Now he will b helping to save my blue healers life. melissa

My family always goes to Central vet. The staff are wonderful and have been incredibly helpful with my cat and my pitbull mix (who is a rescue and quite timid/frightened of strangers). Reasonable priced, no nonsense, consistent.

Killed our friends dog and puppies due to wrong medicine, this vet has destroyed our family. We are getting legal help to make sure this vet never works again. Ken is a disgrace to vets!
