I will call myself Yason to protect my identity. My coworker recommended this place because she thought she would get free movie tickets. I went in on 8/16/14. I do not recall for what, but ended up finding out I need a crown because I had a bad cavity (which is really gross looking to be honest). Anyway the staff: Its ran by 2 brothers, I wont even attempt their names. I have had both do dentist stuff on my mouth. I think I like the oldest one, he has more of a sense of humor, plus he picks his assistants well. When I went in I felt no pain at all except the initial needle. He only gave me 1 shot vs several. Here comes the key selling point of this place, they have this one assistant, her name is Rachael. By far the funniest more amazing person to talk to. I suggest you request her as you will be spending a lot of time in the room with the assistants. She is bilingual. Not only in spanish, but in "I have something in my mouth and cant really speak" language. I am Murican, but tested her "I have something in my mouth..." speak in spanish. She was able to understand that which says a lot since I only know how to say 2 things in spanish, well 3 if you count the phrase I learned when I went to mexico (pic related). Anyway I got a temporary crown, went to get my prescription (she actually said I would need them even though I felt fine). While in the parking lot of Walgreens some crackhead walked up to me and said "What kind of pills?" I said "Mine". We got into a fight and I was hit in the right side of my cheek knocking out my temporary crown, it didnt fall out because I was at the gas station and thought I had some food stuck in the back of my mouth and I tried to scoop it out with my finger, I got punched... I thought "hmm this would be a good excuse to go back to that amazing place and have Rachael do my tooth thing again" and called them telling them it fell out. I drove by and BAM awesome service, I felt like I was going to the emergency room. She was outside waiting for me and held the door open. I thought YAY, and she started doing stuff to the crown to put it back in my tooth hole, then the doctor needed her and she had to leave. I was left with another doctor... A not such a Rachael doctor... So yea if you go in be sure to request Rachael be the assistant or ask for more numbing stuff. So overall, place is amazing and you will want to start smoking meth just for an excuse to go back.

I took my three year old to Dr. John Lee. When setting up the appointment Dr. Lees receptionist asked the age of my son and I told her he was three as well as the fact that I thought he had a cavity. I had my appointment and Dr. Lee greeted me and my son. He had his assistant "clean" my sons teeth. I say "clean" because that consisted of her giving my three year old a toothbrush and having him clean his teeth himself. Then Dr.Llee came in and counted his teeth verifying that he did have a cavity in the spot I already told him he had. Dr. Lee then told me that he could not work on my son due to his age and he would refer me to his "friend" another peds dentist. I asked Dr. Lee if he would just be getting a filling at the other dentist office because I have no dental insurance and couldnt offered alot of vists. Dr/Lee said yes only fillings wil be done there and my son would remain his patient. This visit cost $127. Today I call his "friend" to learn that I would have to pay again for the initial visit and examine again because dentists need to form a relationship with their patients. As I explained to the other dentist what Dr. Lee had me believe she said that is not standard procedure and she didnt know why Dr. Lee would even examine my son in the first place if he knew there would be no follow up visit with him. Not only did this dentist office say that so did 2 other offices i called. Dr. Lee did an unnecessary examine for my child when he already knew that he was not going to have my son as a patient. I spent $127 for my son to brush his own teeth and now I have to come up with more money for another dentist to do the same thing Dr. Lee did prior to filling my sons cavities. Mothers if you dont want to get ripped off DONT COME HERE!!!. Im already preparing my letter for the attorney general to file an official complaint of fraud. Dr.Lee should have been honest enough to say that my son was to young for him to treat and referred me immediately instead of trying to squeeze out of me what he could. If I could give less than a star I would.

I highly recommend Dr. John Lee and Rose City Dental. I had a wonderful experience with the office this summer. I called Rose City Dental with a time-sensitive dental problem. My insurance was going to run out soon and I needed a checkup. They fit me in almost immediately. When we discovered I needed treatment, they worked on me that day. They even stayed 2 hours late! Then they fit me in several times over the next week, accommodating my schedule. They did all of this for me just because I was a patient who needed help. It was remarkable. Dr. Lee’s work is noticeably better than work I have had done previously. Part of what he did for me was fix something that another dentist had done poorly many years ago. Dr. Lee spotted the problems with the past work immediately. He put on new crowns and the difference is amazing. Now I know how a crown should fit. Weird but true. He also noticed that I had some weird shading on one of my teeth. I have had this shading for as long as I can remember; apparently it is a consequence of having a very high fever as a child. Anyhow, it bothered me for a long time but I didn’t think there was anything to do about it (whitening didn’t work). To the contrary, it turns out it was both fast and affordable to fix. Dr. Lee asked me if I would like it fixed and, when I said yes, handled it in minutes. I could not believe it. After many years and many dentists leading me to believe it couldn’t be helped, it was fixed. Finally, everyone in the office was pleasant and helpful. They were so patient with me when my insurance delayed covering their portion. And, in case there wasn’t enough already, when it turned out that I had paid more than my portion of the bill, Rose City called me to ask me where to send the check for the difference. I was pleasantly surprised and so happy that they went out of their way to make sure not only that I would be paid but also that the check would come straight to me. Rose City Dental and Dr. John Lee extended themselves so much for me and I am very grateful.

Somewhere underneath that white coat of his, Dr. Lee has a super - hero cape, Im sure of it! When I first walked in the door, the receptionists said hello to me by name ( incredible how great that can make you feel). They even asked about my new nephew who had been born during the previous appointment (even remembering HIS name!) My root canal was done in three stages so that I could pay in three segments without a penalty. That was a blessing! Even still, Ive had segmented root canals before on teeth that were better off than this one, but this experience was faster and the least painful of my others. After the final process, Dr. Lee told me he had encountered some expected problems inside and had to do extra work. He walked me through the process so I knew what had been done. I really liked that. Of course, the extra work meant more expensive, and I braced myself for the new figure. Not to worry, he said, he Never asks a patient to pay more than he originally quoted them. WAIT...WHAT?!?!?!? Yeah, He sticks to the price he quotes you and absorbs the rest. Now thats honor rarely seen any more. So they knew my name, Remembered my nephew and his name Gave me the fastest and least painful root canal Didnt charge me more when they could have. Is there an award I can nominate this guy for?
