I had a visit back in July to have my teeth cleaned and establish care. I found out that I needed my wisdom teeth out and got a referral. Staff were all very friendly and the office was clean. I was satisfied with my visit. However, about 3 months after my visit I found out that I needed to pay the office $300. My insurance should have covered the visit so I called to find out what was going on. Their biller was not there when I called so they told me I would get a call back when she was in. I never received a call back and had to call the office again. Turns out they usually bill day after service but something happened where my insurance wanted more information. It sounds like the ball got dropped until after I had my wisdom tooth extraction so all of my insurance was used up by the time they tried to bill it again. I was expecting to pay extra with the wisdom tooth extraction but not expecting to pay $300 for a visit in July right around the holidays. They reluctantly agreed to defer the payment until after the holidays and took $100 off for all the trouble. However, I feel the $300 should have been written off by the office. It was their mistake and frankly bad costumer service to not bill for service until 3 months after the appointment. Unfortunate that such a thing happened as I would have agreed with the 5 star ratings had the billing been taken care of more professionally. Update: Dr. Youseff called me personally to work out the issues regarding billing. Went back later to have another teeth cleaning and havent had any issues. Staff was friendly and office was clean.

First off, let me say that Im not a huge fan of dental offices, theres so much to dislike!! After moving to Oregon, I took 2 years before visiting a dental office.. THIS dental office. I was warmly greeted and seated for my appointment. The waiting room was homely with magazines and a fireplace. I then had my Xrays taken, which then led to my teeth being checked. The last time that I had this done, all I heard from the dentist were numbers. This time, after getting them checked, the dentist, Dr. El Youssef took time to explain to me exactly what those numbers mean, he showed me my Xrays and explained to me what I was seeing, he answered all my questions. Ive never had this from a dentist before, someone who cares that I understand my dental status and counseled me on simple things that I can do to improve my dental care (instead of my blind daily routines). Ive been following my dental plan thus far and am definitely looking forward to my next dental visit! Id definitely recommend this place to all those who really want to improve their dental health! I cant give this guy a bad review as he is super kind and gentle and I really liked him a lot. I think with more time he will be a great dentist..... that being said I dont think the guy knows a cavity when he sees one. I took my son there who was 18 months at the time. He took a look at his teeth and admitted he wasnt the man for the job with a baby and I should take him to a pediatric dentist. I respected this about him a lot but my son has very bad obvious cavities and he told me he thought it was just staining. When I did take him to the pediatric dentist the lady didnt even touch his teeth before she knew he had bad cavities (he has developmental enamel problems) It kind of annoys me that I was billed for the two second look he took at my son as he did not give the correct diagnosis and couldnt work on him he didnt even brush his teeth. If you dont have teeth issues and just need a check up and an x-ray to check for cavities I would highly recommend him as I said he is a cool guy. But I wouldnt go to him for any specialty issues.

Love the beautiful office, and love the kind staff. Mountainside provides exceptional care with a hospitable environment. You cant help but feel relaxed when you hear Dr. El Youssef singing throughout the office. He makes it very difficult to be scared of dentists in his presence! It is clear to me that he cares for his patients beyond what is necessary. My visit was to establish care, as I had recently gone to my old dentist for a check up and cleaning. Dr. El Youssef caught various health issues that my previous dentist had missed just weeks before. Not only did he tell me about them, he kindly took the time to explain everything to me and show me the source of the problem on the X-Rays. This is something I greatly appreciate, as I like being able to understand my health fully. He answered all my question, and not for one moment did I feel like a burden to him. He is everything I look for in a health care provider!

I am not a huge fan of going to dentists since dental work isnt my favorite thing in the world. However, this is a great and amazing place to go for many reasons. I loved the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at this office. I also appreciated how Dr. El Youssef took a minute to stop and say hi to me in the waiting room on his way to go see his other patients instead of passing me straight. The environment is very relaxed and everyone is extremely warm and friendly. I highly recommend them to everyone especially those with kids. I truly appreciated how great they were with my 3 year old as well. Dr. El Youssef and his team seem to have a way with children and extreme patience. Never once did the Dr. or his team get frustrated when my scared daughter was giving some problems. I would recommend them to everyone who wants a professional and warm experience with an awesome team.

Absolutely love it here! Lets be honest, nobody likes to go to the dentist but you definitely wont be as down about it coming here! I dont have the best teeth so I have been to many different dentists and this office is hands down the BEST! They are incredibly friendly and make you feel very comfortable being there, almost like youre part of the family! NEVER once have a felt like a disgusting walking paycheck coming here like I have at every other dentist Ive been to! I highly recommend that if you want someone who truly cares for you and your best interest when it comes to your dental needs you come here! I cannot say enough how caring and sincere they are! I highly recommend you go in and see them, you will not be disappointed!!!!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We always talk about needing to find providers and companies that will look at us not as a number. This goes way beyond the customer is right because they pay our salaries. All of the staff here have a genuine care for you as well as the services they provide. Twice I have had to deal with dental emergencies after hours or on days when the dentists were at another location. Both times, these people have gone above and beyond to make my experience the best it can be and make things as easy as they can make it for me, from moving things around to schedule me, to dealing with insurance to make it easier on me to get them paid. Highly recommend them for anyone needing dental work.
