Gave them 1 star cuz I had to. Went in because I had cut my gums with a new toothbrush and they became infected. All they cared about was I hadnt been in to see them for a cleaning since 2014. They wanted to do a deep cleaning at 1000.00 without discussing the cost or the fact that my problem resulted because I had cut the gums. Went in the following day and had a second opinion by Dr. Smith who recommended a general cleaning. Again it was about my not being there since 2014 not about the current infected gums. They spread the infection around my mouth. I now have 2 places where my gums bleed where I have NEVER had bleeding gums before. No antibiotics for the infection. Just an oral rinse. Came out with more gum problems then I went in with. Assuming because I hadnt been back to them for cleanings that I hadnt been to a dentist at all. Didnt go back to them because they screwed my teeth up in 2014 that was another 1000.00 dollar waste and then didnt even fix the initial problem I had gone in for. They are aggressive with their treatment for $$$...and the patient pays for that greed in more ways than green backs. I have put off finding another dentist because these people have taken my trust in dentists way beyond fear. The other part of the stoory...they have 2 entrances to each exam room. The closest is an obstacle c o use of the tray that holds the instruments a counter and the Hygenist who goes in first plus her chair. I am a recent amputee wha is still unsteady on a prosthetic and have to transfer from the left side into the reclining chair. I went through the doorway that was least crowded and to which would give me the safest transfer method. The hygenist literally tells me I need to go through the other doorway in the rudest voice. I tell her there are too many obstacles and she retorts she could move things. What difference does it make which door a patient goes through other than this twit has a God complex? Maybe they should educate themselves on a persons physical challenges. I will say that this hygegenist from that moment on had an attitude the entire time she workrd on my mouth. Educate yourselves...not everyone can bow to you and your egotistical feeding frenzie.

Ive been going to Prarie Dental Care Since I moved here in 2010. Everything was fine until I needed a front crown replaced last month. They took out the old crown and gave me a temporary one that was too yellow and was longer then the other teeth. I hate to complain so I figured its fine, it will come off in 2 weeks anyway. Thats when it all started, when I got there for my next appointment the crown was the wrong shade. They sent it back to the lab which is at least 15!!! miles away in downtown Vancouver. The second time I came back the crown was still a weird shade. They had me drive to the lab, have the tech compare it to my teeth, take more pictures and drive back so that they can put the temp back on. The THIRD time I came in they still couldnt get it the right shade. I ended up driving to the lab yet again and waiting for them to paint the crown and compare it to the rest of my teeth. Thats 2 mornings spent at the dentist and driving back and forth while I had someone babysit my 10 month old. When they finally got the color right, they asked if I was happy with the shape. I asked them what they though and was told by Dr. Robano and her assistant that it looks perfect. Trusting their opinion I gave the ok to cement it. When I got home and took a look at it... OMG. the crown is crooked, does not align with the rest of my teeth. Theres a gap between my front teeth that wasnt there before. And the crown is a different shape then the tooth next to it. So for the FOURTH time I go in asking them to fix it they say that they cant do anything about it but THEY CAN PUT A CROWN ON A PERFECTLY HEALTHY TOOTH NEXT TO IT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Needless to say my husband and I are done with this place. Save yourself some hassle and money and go somewhere else. This place is ridiculously overpriced anyway.

I have been going to Dr. Rubano for a couple of years now. She and Janelle are totally awesome. They have always been a hoot to work with, very friendly, lots of fun. Unfortunately, they work the morning shift. Not sure what the deal is with the folks that work the evening shift, but I went in for a cleaning and was told that it would be $81.00, so that is what I budgeted for. After the exam and what not were completed my bill was $185.00. I was shocked. The hygenist that cleaned my teeth was rude about it. I also had just referred a friend that needed $2000 worth of work done. When we left he couldnt figure out why I had spoken so highly of them. Now I cant either. I called back this morning to see if there was anything they could do and they said no, the charge is what it is. SERIOUSLY? I will never return to this office. What a disappointment. Beware of what youre quoted and confirm in advance before you have work done. Lesson learned.

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH PRAIRIE DENTAL! They did a crown for me and chipped the one next to it. The new crown is approximately 3 shades lighter than the rest of my teeth. As for the response to the crown that they chipped..."It was going to fracture anyway so you should just have it replaced, $700 estimate". What other type of business can get away with a response like this? I am in the process of getting a second opinion and obtaining legal advice. The ladies in the front office have poor customer service skills and overall bad attitudes when dealing with unsatisfied patients, something I have heard from many other people. FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST to give your money to!

Scared of going to the dentist? Hate waiting for the doctor even though you had an appointment? You wont have to worry about either of those things here. Doctor Smith is excellent. Hes honest with you about prioritizing your needs in a way that fits your budget. He takes his time with you and doesnt shame you whatsoever. Very down to earth and an excellent dentist. Im writing this review because Ive always hated the dentist and this place changed that for me. Im now on my way to a healthier smile. If theres anything I ever needed I know this place would bend over backwards to make sure I was taken care of. 10 stars Ill be a patient for life.

Ive chosen this office because it was close to my home and Im not regretting it. Its been some time since I had work done, and Ive had all kinds of problems and the staff did an excellent job. The teeth cleaning thorough and painful (not had a cleaning in years) but the hygienist made it as comfortable as possible. I also needed several fillings, a crown and a root canal and Dr. Rubano did an amazing job going fast when possible and slowing down and handling pain when it needed. The root canal and crown were done perfectly. Ill definitely wont be switching dentists.
