Due to multiple complications caused by a previous Edmonds dentist in 2016, Ive searched and consulted 9 dentists/prosthodontists over 9 months across the greater Seattle area and out of state. I was told by many of these dentists that Seattle has one of the best dental care professionals in the nation. But repeatedly, these top dentists have backed down on my case (after taking my money) and told me there is nothing they can do to help me but to accept life. Over one breakfast, my teeth were acting up again. I searched frivolously on the net for yet more dentists to see if there is anyone else I havent visited. I dont remember how I came across the Kois Dentistry in Seattles South Lake Union district, but I decided to phone in just to chat about my situation. From the first moment I spoke to receptionist Su, she provided the utmost attention-to-detail responses to my inquiries, and was able to set up an appointment to see Dr. Dean Kois within the week. Having been deeply depressed over my unfixable teeth for so many months, I managed to drag myself into Kois Dentistry, repeating the by-now fluid process of filling out paperworks and go through explaining my problems with the dental assistant, Michelle. Then enters Dr. Dean Kois. Right from the get go I noticed Dr. Dean is a lefty, just like me. Perhaps lefties think alike, I felt an immediate connection to this friendly and humorous man. Dr. Dean not only understood every bit of my concerns, his responses and diagnosis were spot on in pinpointing the false works and undiagnosable symptoms which the previous 8 dentists turned me away for. Even though at the time I have completely lost faith in all dentists and their untrustworthy practices, Dr. Dean managed to bring me out from the bottom of the well, and patiently laid out clear plans to help solve all my dental problems. Over the course of one month, I visited Dr. Dean every week to slowly and meticulously fix previous mistakes put in by the other dentist. I was amazed by the feathery touch, quick and confident hands, and at times, much needed reassurances Dr. Dean provided. While he is great at turning sour experiences into lighthearted jokes, as soon as a serious inquiry is asked, he would address the concerns in the most professional and in-depth manner. In the end, Dr. Dean gave my life back after 9 dark months. Im very grateful to have come across the Kois Dentistry, and is delighted to have Dr. Dean as my permanent dentist in Seattle.

Well I am currently still numb but let me assure you it is not affecting my perception one bit. I went into Kois Dentistry about a month ago after finally deciding it was time to get over my fear of the Dentist. I knew I was going to need a significant amount of work done but, the moment I walked in and met the folks who worked there I felt I had made the right decision. Well this week I came in for my deep cleanings (just finished my 2nd half) and had been dreading it for the past couple of weeks. Boy, was all that worrying for nothing. Dana made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, even though my mouth didnt feel like making it easy for her. As someone who was terrified of shots coming in, I can confidently say they dont bother me in the slightest anymore. My teeth already look so much better and I dont feel like I need to hide my smile because of the great work and care Dana provided me. Kois Dentistry exceeded all of my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone who needs dental work, especially those who are fearful ( They will take great care of you!). Kois Dentistry is a top notch facility with dentists who are a cut above the rest. Dr. Kois has helped me on multiple occasions, and I felt that his level of knowledge, care, and service were so good that I sent my father to go see him with a difficult scenario. The entire office is full of people who really love what they do, and it shows in the care and consultation they provide to their patients. I recently had a tooth chipped, and even during his time off, Dr. Kois was generous enough to make time for me to come in and get it fixed. Not only that, but his detailed work was so amazing I cannot even see where the chip was! If you are in search of a great dentist(s) in Seattle, with fantastic care and service, theres no better place to go.

I have been going to Kois Dentistry / Kois Centre for the last two+ years since I have been living in Seattle and I absolutely love this office and everyone who works there! I have, and continuously, refer my colleagues, friends, and family to this practice because of their friendly staff, hospitable service and incredible knowledge. Not only are Dr. Dean and Dr. Tara extremely knowledgeable but the rest of their staff at the Centre are just as knowledgeable as them. My favourite hygienist is Dana! Every time I walk in for an appointment, she greets me just like a friend rather than just as another patient. I would absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone in the city of Seattle. Check them out, you will not be disappointed one bit.

Kois has been my dentist office for about 8 years now. Both Tara and Dean have worked on me over the years. Theyre some of the best dentists in Seattle, very personable, concerned about my level of comfort there in the chair and very knowledgeable in the industry, teach CEs for other dentists at their facility. Also, their dental hygienist Dana is absolutely amazing. She always gives me excellent advice and studies my chart in detail before I arrive so she can hit the ground running right when I get there. Because of her, my teeth are much healthier these days. Highly recommend this office and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Recently I had a veneer on my front tooth break. My previous dentist had retired so I was without someone I trusted to fix it, and it was an emergency. I had been referred to Kois Dentistry as "the best", and I was not disappointed. They were very professional and caring, and sensitive to my need to get in quickly and have my teeth look as good as they did before the break. I was somewhat concerned about driving into Seattle from my home in Tacoma, but the access from I-5 was easy and they had reserved parking spaces. My front tooth looks great! I will be a regular now, and would not hesitate to recommend Kois.

Dr. Kois and Dr. Kois! They are absolutely the best! The staff here works in great harmony. Everyone is friendly - you are always greeted with a smile and kind words. The office itself is magnificent. Modern and spotless. And of course what really matters is the quality of care - and that is tops. Dr. Dean and Dr. Tara are top dentists who take enormous pride in their work - and in being there for their patients. They are natural care givers. And Dana, their hygienist, takes her cues from them - she is a perfectionist - and somehow gets your cleaning done with no discomfort. Just big smiles all around.

Kois Dentistry is the most professional yet friendly office I have ever been to. They are prompt and very customer oriented. They are sensitive to patient needs and preferences, and go out of their way to make patients comfortable. Dr. Dean is highly skilled and well respected by his colleagues, and is a bit of a perfectionist - a great trait in a dentist! And his implants are excellent! I have been going to Kois Dentistry for about 10 years and have been totally satisfied and impressed. And Dana, the dental hygienist, is the best! Thorough and patient and considerate. They have an excellent team!
