The hygienist and dentist are very gentle when doing a cleaning. After being in significant pain from getting a cleaning at a different dentists office, I scheduled with Dr. Laura Matin for my next 6-month visit. What a stark contrast! So happy that I made the switch. Not only is the experience painless, but the staff is exceptional -- tremendously kind and they make patients feel paid attention to. Dr. Matin explained my x-rays to me, answered my questions thoroughly (even drawing a sketch to illustrate), and is easy to talk to. The office is beautiful, and Dr. Matin goes far above and beyond great dentistry, transforming a routine visit to the dentist into a relaxing, comfortable, even rejuvenating experience. They offer comforts like watching a preferred tv channel, a hot towel for your neck, getting to hold a small groomed Yorkie dog. Im a mother to two young children, so imagine my surprise and delight when I leave the dentist feeling like Ive been to a spa. And honestly, I really dont require any extra comforts, so the pleasant attitudes, friendly chatter directed toward me, and gentle care were enough to leave me blinking and stunned.

If you are reading this and are looking for a Dentist I would tell you to come in and give them a try. I have been going to Dr. Matin for over 10 years now and she is my Dentist. If you take care of your teeth and are looking to continue proactive care of your mouth look no further. I have read some of the reviews for Dr. Matin online and I would disagree heavily with some of the negative ones - Most people are terrible at their own oral care and dont wish to take responsibility. Dr. Matin has helped me keep very good oral care for over 10 years. My entire family sees her and I would recommend her to anyone who is personally interested in taking care of their own mouth. Some people enjoy the Dentist and I believe this is the place for you. If youre afraid or you dont take good care of your mouth she is more than capable of helping you with your issues. Come in a give the office a try, I did a long time ago and I never looked back.

I recently moved to seeing Dr. Matin after a traumatic year at a tooth factory nearby (not my term, but quite applicable!). The difference was quickly apparent. Her office staff are all very caring and treat you and your time with greatest respect. I ended up needing 2 crowns and a recommendation for a(nother) root canal, both of which were handled with care and compassion. Dr. Matins staff have been working with her for a long time and it shows - they are amazingly competent and very personable. And for all the dog lovers out there, the office staff includes 2 Yorkshire Terriers to greet you - and will sit on your lap during treatment if you like!

I am so pleased with the treatment and compassion received from Dr. Matin. I am so afraid (mildly stated) due to a past horrible experience. I had gone a long time without care of my teeth. I was missing a side front tooth and had black cavities showing. Dr. Matin did a deep cleaning of my gums. She fixed the cavities. I have an amazing, beautiful bridge. I never felt any shots. She was so gentle and sweet. I love her office. I am able to smile again with confidence. I no longer cover my mouth with my hand.I was so embarrassed to go in and they made me feel like family. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Matin operates a truly first-class dental clinic. I have benefited from her extraordinary talents, professionalism and humanity when I visited her yesterday. I have done three filling yesterday and I can say this is the best dentist work I have ever done. Dr Rose also is such a fantastic doctor, I have done cleaning. I was very happy with her. The staff is outstanding and very friendly . From the first time I went into the clinic and was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. I could not recommend her more highly.

I have never had a bad experience at Dr. Matins office, and would recommend their services to anyone! The staff go over and above to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, something that is sometimes hard to achieve at a dental office. Patients have the option of headphones, massage chairs, and my personal favorite -therapy dogs! Making appointments with them is easy, and I always feel like my teeth are in good hands! I recently moved away from the area, but I make the drive because this office is definitely worth it!

Dr. Matin and all her staff were incredibly friendly and made me and my children feel very welcome. After the appointment, my kids raved about how nice everyone was. I was especially amazed to have bottled water, Keurig coffee, and fresh cookies available, as well as TV and headphones to keep the kids distracted during their procedures. It was like stepping into someones living room, not a dental facility. We are so happy to have found a dentist that is personable, thorough, and professional.

Dr. Matin has been my dentist since late 2005. Males in my family generally suffer a total dental collapse starting in late 50s. (my late father ended up with dentures) Dr Laura helped me thru that, and I can say that in my old age I still have my teeth despite two very successful implants. Personally, she is one of the most soft hearted professionals I have ever known. She gives great shots and I can truthfully say Ive never had any pain. If you need a dentist, Dr. Matin is the ONE!

I brought my mother to Dr. Laura for an emergency and the whole staff was so friendly and welcoming, it immediately made me feel like she was going to be in good hands. Dr. Laura Matin provided gentle and compassionate care. The issue was completely resolved, she took her time and really seemed to care about her patient, which truly made a difference. Dr. Matin, is very gentle and is a good dentist, and I enjoy the wonderful treatment when I go there. They have the massage for the back while you are in the chair getting your teeth cleaned. They also have the neck massage to take the kinks out of you and make your neck feel better. As for Dr. Matin, she is the icing on the cake of your trip there as she is the best dentist I have gone to in my life.

I never thought Id say it, but since I started visiting Dr. Matins office for my dental work, I actually look forward to my visits! I go in for my usual cleanings every couple months, and each time I visit, Im treated to a heated massage pad on the chair, a heated neck pillow, and wireless noise-cancelling headphones so I can watch TV while my cleaning is done! Very pleasant and comfortable!

I love Dr. Matin and her staff, including Angel and Romeo! Best and most compassionate dental care Ive ever received. I have severe anxiety and going to the dentist freaks me out. Her and her staff have made going less of a chore and have helped me get my dental health back on track! I moved across town and still travel to Beaverton to see her. Id recommend her to anyone.
