This is a practice with great physicians. I grew up in a small town, where my best friends Dad was my doctor my entire life. When he retired in Fall 2015, I was forced to find a new one, and I was dreading it; in a big city, I was afraid Id end up going to some "assembly-line" practice where the Doctor cares more cramming in as many patients as possible and turning the room over every 10 minutes. After doing a lot of careful research, I decided to give Bridgebort Family Medicine a shot, even though its 10 miles from my place. It exceeded my expectations. Same day appointment, short wait, and Dr. Stan was a great dude. Hes a very friendly, down-to-earth guy. Spent a lot of time going over my symptoms and advising me on options. He made sure I was aware of all the prescription/treatment options and the associated costs. You can definitely tell that these two doctors went into medicine for the right reasons. They listen, they take their time, and theyre very consultative. If youre looking for a new doctor, I highly recommend these guys.

Follow up from staff sorely lacking and wasnt a good fit. - Dr Phelps, I wrote this in the height of anger and didnt, at that time, perceive any of that as personal. After your phone call I can see I hurt you and your family and I apologize. It just is not reassuring to be told no one knows why he needed a referral and "the doctor didnt know and said we should call and ask you." And then be told theres nothing in his chart about his knee. Also, the stuff in the sink and gloves walking around is true and I would have been fired when I worked in medical settings for that kind of error because its unclean. I hope this settles this to your satisfaction.

Best doctor Ive been too! I went in unsure about the process of becoming a new patient. It was incredibly easy and felt like the receptionist was my new best friend. They have a cool coffee station, which I know isnt unusual, but its in the perfect spot to talk to your new receptionist friend. The nurse and the doctor were also very friendly and easy to talk to. This place is a complete gem and if you are looking for a new doctors office, this is the one. You will feel cared for and able to discuss concerns without being questioned.

amazing doctor and staff. Ive never been to a doctors office where everyone is happy and pleasant and it is evident that everyone really loves their job and helping people!! Dr Phelps (who I saw) was patient and listened. the reception staff very spirited. Ive seen doctors for over 40 years on a regular basis and there is no doctors office Ive ever been to that is consistently welcoming and nice -- Im talking the entire staff.

I cant say enough great things about my familys experience here seeing Dr. Michael Phelps. They got my husband, myself and our3yr old in for new patient appointments very quick and dealt with all individual needs. The office is clean updated staff is very friendly and helpful. So happy we found this place and totally recommend!!
