It was the worst experience Ive ever had at a dentist office. Dr. Ramirez was very nice but now hes leaving anyway. They did a procedure on my daughter that wasnt covered under insurance because it was already done and they never asked me or had me check the other dental office to make sure it was done before they did it. Isnt it their job to make sure a procedure is covered before they do it? So they billed me for it. Now if she already had it done why would I want it done again and pay for it yet? When I called I spoke with Mary who is extremely rude and told me she would call be back on it and never did, then I get a bill a month later and when I asked her why she didnt call me back she said she assumed that meant that I owed the bill. I guess I have ESP now. If you tell someone you are going to call them back, you do it, you dont expect them to assume they know what is going on. When I called back, Mary told me that if I am not happy with that office maybe I should look for another dentist. Isnt that professional? I was only going there for about a year and they kept billing me incorrectly, I had to call almost every time they did something just to rectify it. They dont call you back when they say they will, the office is very unprofessional and their customer service skills are totally lacking. Stay far away from this dental office unless you like problems, inconvenience or arguing. I think I can do without all that.

Horrible admin staff, The first time I called, I gave all of my insurance information and was assured they accepted my insurance. I get a call back later and was told there was a mistake and they did not accept it, so I cancelled my appointments. I received a reminder call the day before for the appointment I had cancelled, and again had to reiterate that I had cancelled the appointment due to them not taking my insurance. The gal on the phone wanted to double check that they actually did not take the insurance and said shed call me back. She did not, I called them back the next day to make sure my and my husbands appointments were indeed cancelled, because this was ridiculous. Fast forward to a month later, they call my husband and tell him he has an appointment that day, and he leaves work not realizing this was not the right dentist. And of course when he gets there, they tell him they dont accept our insurance. He calls me upset and I tell him that I had cancelled with this office twice, and they cant keep track of their records. These people have wasted our time and have no organization. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I have never ever dealt with a dental office or even doctors office as unproffessional and degrading as this one. When I would call first off they are very rude then I "scheduled" over the phone 2 appointments for my daughter and I and a couple weeks later I called to confirm my appointments and they were never scheduled then I took the time to go into the office in person and "schedule" my appointments for the second time So again I called to have my appointments confirmed and again they never scheduled my two appointments!! and I was there in person!!! and not to mention my appointments were at least two months out so moral of story I was never able to get appointments.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE TO ANYONE..IF THEY CANT EVEN GET YOUR APPOINTMENTS RIGHT...MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO YOUR TEETH!!!

I liked Family dental service, but when my wife told me, the dentist and assistant were laughing at her cause of her English, i was disappointed. I went in for a cleaning and to get a loss filling checked , which it hurted alot. I got my cleaning done then waited a little for the dentist to check my tooth. He checked , and said ( yeah is a loss filling, make an appointment to get it done). I said to my self , im in pain and I need to wait ! So I went to schedule the appointment, and next available was in two weeks. I called the next day to see if my appointment can be changed for that day and the lady said ( their one for the following week), I said i cant wait cause of the pain, and she simply hang up the phone. Rude and unprofessional! Good luck !

I called them in the morning and the lady asked no questions but what insurance I have she didnt care about my tooth ache or anything and then when I finally told her my insurance she told me that she didnt have anything till later that week. Your secretary is nasty and Ive been there w couple of times and noticed the same thing she has an attitude shes old and she acts like she doesnt want to be there! I guantee if you hired someone cheerful and nice especially sully to patients that are in pain your business will flourish that much more. The dentist on the other hand is very nice, but his assistant the woman that takes the X-rays is another Nasty attitude person!

Ive been to this office two times over the last six months, and both times have been excellent. The staff is friendly, and both times the hygienist did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth even though Im not the most diligent flosser. I highly recommend this office if youre looking for a new family practice. Its also convenient that orthodontics are offered at the same practice. This will allow me to keep my kids at the same place as they grow up needing braces. Great job Family Dental Service!

Today was the first time my son was getting a tooth pulled at the dentist. He was extremely nervous but the dentist was very friendly and explained everything to my son. He was so gentle and kind my son didnt even realize the procedure was already over. The staff was wonderful and the office was very clean. I wish I would have started my children out with this dental practice years ago. My whole family will now be new patients to this practice. I would highly recommend them.

Ive been going to Family Dental Service for over 15 years. As a child I didnt take care of my teeth and I have had all types of work done at Family Dental Service. Thankfully, as an adult my teeth are in good shape now, thanks to Family Dental Service. I go twice a year to have my teeth clean. Everyone is very nice and I will continue to stay with Family Dental Service. I recommend Family Dental Service to everyone!

Very friendly, very professional. Im one of those people who are terrified of the dentist, but recently needed a tooth removed. It took me until I couldnt bare the pain any longer to finally set an appointment. I regret that now, the staff was very kind, understanding and very accommodating. I am not looking forward to another visit to the dentist, but when I do need to go I will be returning to family dental.

My family has been going to Family Dental since 1982. Now my children and their families are going to Family Dental. My daughters had their orthodontic work done there. They had their wisdom teeth removed there. My dentist is Dr. Bordenaro and he is wonderful. My hygienist was Barbara who retired and then Leslie who retired. I would not go to another dentist. Office staff have always been great.
