I am one of those individuals that have this irrational fear of going to the dentist therefore, I put off going till I am having a problem. Two days ago, I was eating a granola bar for breakfast and I broke a tooth. That particular tooth had been somewhat sensitive to hot and cold and biting down on it for the last few weeks that should have hinted that I had an issue. So, Monday morning, I am desperately trying to call a dentist to get in because the entire side of my back molar is now gone. Luckily I was not in any real pain. I called Aspen Dental because I saw their ads on tv and they said they have emergency services (although this was an emergency to me - not really sure what actually constitutes an emergency). They were able to see me the next day but stated that they may not actually be able to perform a repair that day but would see what they could do. They immediately put me at ease, I confessed my issues with not visiting a dentist regularly and the Dentist was extremely compassionate. He quickly assessed my situation, detailed my options and stated that he could take care of me the next day. I went in today and I cant tell you how grateful I am of the quick, efficient, compassionate service that I received. I would definitely recommend Aspen Dental!

Just left there. All I got was x-rays and a total on what I needed done. I went in because I have a massive hole in my tooth. Left being told I have 3 cavities, needed a root canal, and 2 crowns, and if I wanted to I could get a bridge for my missing tooth. When I went in the staff was very nice. The Dr was focused on making sure he told me he wasnt my dentist yet. He also did the same with my husband at a previous visit. Then I was told we will clean your teeth and then you will talk to our finance person to get your totals by the dentist. The cleaning never happened and no body did anything to my teeth. Except for the sweet woman who did my x-rays. After sitting in the chair for about 5 minutes expecting a cleaning the finance lady calls me. Throws prices and appointments at me. Not really trying to accommodate my work schedule. Saying goes things like well cant you get another day off? I said Ill have to look at my schedule. She replied with ok well youre all done here. No cleaning, nothing but x-rays and prices.... so yes now I will say this place is not my dentist and never will be. I should have listened to others when they said dont go there

Tami Check I had the same exact thing happen to me!! I also spoke with 2 co-workers who experienced this bizarre event. I went it and the front staff is very nice as is the woman who did my xrays. So nice. However after being told they cant do my cleaning by the dentist they rushed me off into an office for financing and a deep cleaning appointment. I barely could digest what just happened. I kept telling her Id rather not go back to work after what they were telling me. My insurance didnt cover $1400 of it and then I was told that $900 of it is actually a preventative medicine that you dont even need. But I was only told of this when I asked for them to break it down. The girl was nice in the finance as was the dentist but the entire thing left me feeling like what just happened??

I do not have health insurance, they worked with me got me in ASAP soon as i had acquired the funds, very nice personal, they keep the work rooms very sanitary they basically clean the entire room when a client leaves, when i went into the work room i immediately observed the lcd tvs they have posted at the dental chair, they explained everything that was going on very clearly, and they were very professional, and best of all very friendly. When they would brief you on there observations of your xrays (which they did for free) they can drag it from there computer over to the lcd tv so you can get a real good look at your xrays, now that i really truly made me fall in love with this place, i will be going to Aspen Dental, they rock!

I needed an emergency appointment. I was in so much pain I couldnt open my mouth. Aspen Dental in Belle Vernon was able to schedule an appointment the same day. I never had a tooth extracted before and was terrified. The pulled my wisdom tooth and the extra tooth that had come in behind it. They were very comforting and quick. Highly professional and addressed all of my questions and concerns. My whole appointment lasted maybe an hour and they had me on my way feeling so much better. I didnt get this treatment when I called my regular dentist begging for help. Next day, I can barely tell I had two teeth pulled. These guys are the best! I found myself a new dentist!

I had a great dental experience at Aspen Dental. They are very thorough and at the same time quick with your appointment. It doesnt feel like a burden to go to the dentist anymore. Its a comfortable enviroment and makes it very welcoming. I had broken my tooth on my birthday! Went in for my appointment, automatically thinking that I would be toothless in that spot. But no, instead they fixed it, and some other things that my old dentist had looked over. Other dentists do the bare minimun to get u in and out, at Aspen I get quality care and it is still quick!!

Great Service! Great Employees! Great Value! After almost a year of being a customer at Belle Vernons Aspen Dental and I am very satisfied. Dr. Shieh and his staff treat me as if I am the only person they have to focus on. All options & information have been given to me for my situation...no pressure. Going to Aspen in Belle Vernon is one of the best decisions Ive ever made! Thank you Dr. Shieh & your wonderful staff!

Awful. Dr. Shieh is the most unprofessional, and uncaring doctor Ive ever witnessed to a patient. How horrifying it is to have a wisdom tooth pulled, and one minute your teeth are in good shape then the next "your jaw is melting away"? There was no comfort for my boyfriend during this procedure. No bedside manner or respect for the patient. I was thoroughly disgusted, and I wasnt even the patient.

2 thumbs down! Youd expect the workers to smile and show their teeth, right? Not here. I cant believe how rude they are! They gave me a hard time just giving me a shot of water; they gave me a quarter of a little paper shot cup, with a bad attitude. The place was filthy too. And the dentist? I didnt like him. This place sucks! I do not recommend

Honestly, I was nervous about going to another dentist because I havent had much luck with finding a nice dentist that didnt seem to judge me and my teeth. The whole team that works there are outstanding! I felt very comfortable and that was a breath of fresh air! Thank you so much! I will be back!
