My family had been using this vet for many years in the 90s with our old dog, with no problems. However, when I brought my rescued dog in for stomach problems, I was very disappointed in the service. The vet we saw barely looked over my dog, put him on medications he did not need, and then switched his food, which solved the stomach problems for awhile but then he started biting his paws until they were raw. Disappointed with the service, I switched vets-- the problem all along? Food sensitivity: an allergy to wheat and corn. This is a problem Hidden Valley Animal Clinic could have diagonosed, had they given any attention to my pet, and taken the time with him that he deserved.

Tried too little too late to save my dog. Girl who is to be a VET at the East Maiden Animal Clinic, diagnosed my dog in July with kidney disease. SHE offered NO TREATMENT plans. In Jan I had to take her back NOW they are trying something. a little too late. They are out to make money not help animals. Or should I say MY BEST FRIEND!!! Would not recommend to anyone. George is great, but the female vets he has working there need to go back to school. They should not even be vet techs at a slaughter house. I am going to loose my best friend in the world and the only connection I have left to my kids due to poor treatment plan. They will take your money though. Hundreds of it.

Before my kittys surgery actually started, they put the tube down her throat and put a hole through it!!! She filled up with air and died. I wanted to see her. She looked like a balloon!! A simple operation turned out as total devastation. But they said they were sorry and didnt charge me for killing her.... What more could we possibly want, right?!!!! She was only 7 years old. This crushed our whole family. I have many many other stories, but do I really need to say more? Why did I stay there so long? If I only wouldve left sooner my sweet little kitty would still be alive today. All I can say is, there are plenty of great vets out there!!!!! Go somewhere else!!!

Its difficult to get an emergency appointment with this vet during normal business hours. The vet also misdiagnosed one of our pets for over a month before I went to PVSEC, it cost my dog her sight. As a result of these events, weve found a wonderful new vet at A Step Up in Bethel Park. A Step Up is not as close to home, but worth the great care for our dogs! I would not recommend Hidden Valley Animal Clinic.

My family has been coming here for years , and they have helped us with everything . Even when they were closing tonight they stayed open late because our puppy was having an allergic reaction to something . All the nurses and doctors are wonderful . We will never go anywhere else .

The staff is very friendly and treat our pets kindly. The vets take time to explain and answer questions - they have not pushed expensive treatments or services. They usually balance cost effective measures with what our animals really need. I feel I can trust their advice.
