My wife called to inquire about a document the army needed her to fill out in order to travel overseas with me and was greeted by a rude receptionist that gave her very short and rude responses along the lines of "If I havent seen it how do you expect me to know what it is". Then she was hung up on by this lady. I called back shortly after to speak with someone about this terrible customer service and apparently spoke to the same lady that was rude to my wife. She then apologized once she realized I wanted to speak with whoever was in charge and was much nicer after she heard me say I would like to speak to whoever is in charge. She also made the excuse that they have been busy... It doesnt matter how busy you are, your job is to greet your customers so that they feel welcome and safe at your medical establishment. The only reason I am giving even 1 star is because she corrected her behavior and answered my wifes original question after I spoke with her. Dreadful customer service. I would recommend going to a different Med Express until this ones customer service improves.

I was treated well at the office. It was the days to follow that have me so distraught. I was incorrectly diagnosed with something I never had and prescribed an antibiotic that my body did not react well with... I called the office numerous times to see what was going on and I was completely ignored by Dr. Steven Morreale, I was told numerous times he would call me back by the front desk assistance with results and a better understanding of why I was prescribed an antibiotic that had nothing to do with my incorrect diagnosis. The nurse practitioner called me back and was very apologetic and understood my frustration with 3 days of trying to figure out what was going on and no answers... I will never visit another Med Express... My best advice to anyone looking to seek medical help is to simply go to your own PCP or an ER ... I will forever and always doubt any diagnosis given by Med Express to anyone and highly suggest that they seek other medical options...

I have been to a MedExpress before. They were fast and resolved my health issue when my primary care was unable to see me. Unfortunately, this location does not meet the standards of other centers in the area. I was seen by Dr. Dylan Deatrich. He never even examined me or spoke to me about what I should do next or for a follow-up. He was rude and had horrible patient interaction manners. Also overheard other employees speak badly of him while inside the office. I recommend that if you have a health issue, do not go to this urgent care center. There are two other UPMC or St.Clair facilities in the area that have better sense then to treat patients like this.

Unfortunately Ive been there more times then Id like to admit -- anything from a broken ankle to the flu; torn rotator cuff to bronchitis. Each and every time they took care of me efficiently and effectively. I saw the poor review and wanted to share my great experiences.

I was very disappointed with this MedExpress. Having a doctor look at you for five minutes, run no tests, and tell you that you have a cold is not worth $260. I would highly recommend seeing your normal primary care physician if at all possible.
