I arrived at the center for my 2 oclock appointment at 1:30 thinking I had to fill some forms , the receptionist who spoke broken English didnt know where to direct me so she told me to sit down and wait , after 15 minutes I asked her if I needed to fill some forms and she asked me which doctor I was seeing but never asked me my name or any info. So she proceeded to sent me at a desk in the back and sign in , I sat there for another 10 minutes . Then another lady came and asked me who I was seeing and I told her so she sent me in another room to wait by 2:15 I was told to relocate to the entrance waiting room , by that time I was getting hangry because no one knew what to do with me . At 2:30 I went to the desk again and asked what was going on and I was told that they would call me , meanwhile a gentleman who was really really hangry went off on the nurses and was using some very graphic language including the F bomb multiple times and was saying how disorganized the place was and that this was the United States of America and not the United States of South America because it seems that everyone in the place spoke Spanish . Finally a young lady came and got me , by that time it was 2:50 So needles to say it was not a good first impression for myself , if client service was a little more attentive I wouldnt mind

Nice Staff yet they are so overwhelmed with the new building , you never know what your gonna get I was over prescribed blood pressure medicine I have to be careful with, its very hard to get someone one the phone, and they will call you several times, insisting on doing services you dont need and not respect where you are. or a do not call me I will call you , I suppose as a geriatric clinic they can charge medicare as much as possible, for things you dont need , be careful I was even put on Cholesterol pills when I dont have cholesterol , and well ON the situations I went for like a sports leg pain and a back ache I was given Aleve 500 mg and sent home. , no solution just a pain killer. the only person that I feel bad for there is Victoria Hopkins shes so sweet and serviceable yet as it is a very stressful environment for the staff so it is for the patient. so sad because its close to my house and thats the only reason I had chosen to see Dr Konokopka , who left and they took it upon themselves to assign me to a Dr Vivian Bilasano who you never see, , you see some kind of Nurse Practitioner with no dedicated time , your just one more patient in the crowd , Funny stressing to go to a Doctore when they are supposed to help you with stress , no wonder your blood pressure is high

This is one of the worst facilities I have ever been to. I used to see Dr Moya for over a year now. I needed an emergency appointment and made one - they had my wrong information on file and canceled my appointment. Very rude receptionist & staff. They did not even try to take responsibility for messing up my appointment when I was in dire need of seeing my doctor. They are just incompetent. Offered to schedule me at 3pm.. Im supposed to take a day off work because of people who dont know what theyre doing?? Got to speak with the manager who put me in with a doctor immediately but NOT the doctor I wanted to see. Very quick. So far no improvement in my condition but well see. Found out from the manager that the girls who I was speaking with COULD have done a little extra work to get me in with a doctor right away but they were supposed to go to lunch in the next 30 minutes so they did not. Never met a place where lunch is more important than a patient. Will never ever again walk into this place.

My Name is Mr. E. Branch, I recommend this medical center. This is a phenomenal medical facility, the workers are very professional, kind and willing to assist in any area that is needed it is a beautiful facility very clean and roomy the atmosphere is very pleasant. When you enter the facility youre given a warm hell-o and a beautiful smile by {Ines} if you need blood taken {Susan} is the best very seldom does she miss your vein, if you have a problem with billing {Minnie} will takes care of that with no problem, {Jose} as you check out hes very kind very warm individual he make sure your appointment was well taken care of. {Hellen} take care referrals appointment and do so immediately, {Wilmarie} is the pharmacy coordinator she will make sure your prescriptions are takeing care in a timely manner, and {Fernanda} is the operator a very pleasant person she always try to accommodate the patients. My family has been a patient for years, the doctors are great, also the P.A. Oana is awesome.

I got an apt for my husband and the office staff was pleasant but an few errors was made and I had to get involved to correct the issues. First they charge for a preventive care visit, which Atena confirmed with me that no co-pay should be charged, next the office staff entered my husbands first name as his last name and last name as his first name then on top of that, the staff keyed in the gender incorrectly. When I called to get all these issues fix, the billing department explained to me on the phone that they should not have charged for the visit but they will keep a $20 credit on hold for when he returns. I explained to them that all these errors needed to be fix and the staff need to be made aware of these errors, because they dont know what they are doing. The girl in billing was defensive and I was not pleased with her reply. Its unfortunate that most doctor office the physicians are great but the office staff can be awful!

They have good doctors and nurses. As far as the staff is concern, they only pick up the phone to schedule appointments. You will never get a live person for The Refferal and Prescription departments. To get something done you need to drive there yourself and take time off from work because no one will pick up the phone on these departments. Too bad they have a newly decorated building but LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have more people working for them than before but effiency is lacking greatly. BOTH THE REFFERAL AND PRESCRIPTION DEPARTMENTS NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE BY ANSWERING THE PHONE AND PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO THE PATIENT WHEN THEY CALL. If they want to succeed and grow in this new building they need all the departments to work as ONE. It is not the case only the receptionist answers the phone and they are limited to what they can do. I will not reffer them to anyone unless they fix this problem.

Ive visited this facility a while ago and Ive actually had a great experience and it takes a lot to impress me :-), but I was very impressed with the cleanliness, state of the art equipment, professionalism of the doctor and staff. I was grateful that they took the initiative to find me a physical therapist and schedule the appointment. Woo Hoo! Ive never experience such great service from other facilities. Youre usually responsible for handling all the leg work. I will definitely be returning to this facility very soon and bringing my fiance. Due to their extended hours, youre not forced to choose between coming to work late or leaving work early. Thank you Hallandale Medical Center for not making doctor appts such a hastle and keep up the good work!
