I guess it all started when I had Pneumonia in first grade. After that, every time I had a cold, I would get a really bad cold. Then, when I was in fourth grade, I got a cough that just would not go away. I remember it was in April, because it was just before my band concert, and my mom was afraid I wouldn’t be able to play my saxophone. When it kept hanging on, we went to the doctors. He gave me antibiotics, then Prednisone. The cough would get a little better for a while, then go right back to where it was. They kept telling me that I had sinus infections. They put me on allergy medicines. They didn’t help either. I couldn’t keep up in gym class. I would start coughing when we would run laps. Then the tests started to come. I went to a pulmonologist. She thought maybe I had asthma. She gave me two inhalers. They didn’t work. They did a sleep study on me. Then they decided that my tonsils and adenoids had to come out. They also did a bronchoscopy on me. Then, since I was also having heartburn, they gave me heartburn medicine. It didn’t work, so they gave me a different kind. Then a different kind. Meanwhile I kept going back to the doctor when my cough would get worse. Sinus Infection. Antibiotics. Then they did an endoscopy. Then an upper GI. Then the pulmonologist wanted to give me a new allergy medicine, even though I was tested for allergies and didn’t have any. I saw Dr. Joel and he checked me over and took some x-rays. When he showed me the x-rays, I saw that my posture was weak, and where there were some other problems. He adjusted me in a few places. Even with that first day, I noticed a difference! I haven’t been having heartburn, and my cough is really down. I do exercises and meet with the staff to get massaged and stuff. I cant believe the difference. My mom almost cried a couple of weeks ago, because after my karate class, I ran out and told her, “Mom! I didn’t even cough once!” My treatment has really made a big difference in my life. I feel stronger when I run in gym, and I can really tell a difference in my saxophone playing. My saxophone teacher has stopped teasing me, saying I have SARS, when I go to my lesson. This Sunday, I’ll be getting my black belt in Tang Soo Do karate. I’m so excited, and I know I’ll be able to get through my promotion without coughing! Thank You Dr. Joel! Ken

Ripoff @ GPM - Will Take $ and Never Call I paid close to $400 and all I got was a 2 week supply of B12 injections that I didnt even want to have and cant administer myself. I have called numerous times but have yet to be refunded on services that were not ever, nor will be provided (note: the office hours are at odd times & usually get answering service). I may have to contact the BBB or go to small claims, which is very disappointing to have to do, as I initially really liked all the people that I met with. I just feel discarded after they got my money, and its honestly kind of sad. If you are trying to lose weight - heed my advice - get B12 shots online (or B12 pills if you hate shots like me) at a much cheaper rate, and sign up for Crossfit or some other High Intensity Activity that will help you burn the calories. Choose healthy foods / sign up for weight watchers or skakeology. It may take a while, but you will have saved a ton of money & headaches in the long run and at least at a gym or weight watchers you can get support from others that you will need along the way, which you really will not be getting from this place from what Ive seen so far. Hope this helps save someone else time and money in the long run.

I came to Pittsburgh Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center suffering from migraines coupled with neck and back pain. I had sought relief through a neurologist and prescription medications, neither of which gave me any relief. Dr. Joel’s approach of indentifying the underlying cause instead of just treating symptoms proved to be the solution for my condition. After relieving my acute pain, the rehabilitation plan helped prevent reoccurring symptoms. Through the entire process, Dr. Joel monitored my progress and showed me tangible proof that I was improving. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating when I needed flexibility in scheduling. I came to Dr. Joel after getting a massage from Nick at my local Giant Eagle. Dr. Joel is very thorough in his initial evaluation (NRC testing, Adrenal testing, heavy Metal testing and X-Rays). After explaining to me what my problem areas were, he did computerized, quantitative testing to measure my strength and flexibility. This not only enables Dr. Joel to track my progress as therapy continues, it also allows him to know just what level of the treatments I need (i.e.. what weights to start with and when). I am continuing to progress and strengthen areas of my neck and ! :) :)

I have been coming here for years and have always been completely satisfied with my experience. The staff are professional, but still make you feel comfortable. Cassandra with the weight loss program is phenomenal!! Her passion for the HCG program is obvious and contagious. After just one visit I felt that she really cared about me, and my weight loss! When I fall off the wagon, Cassandra is there to pick me up and help me get started again. I would highly recommend Integra Medical Center and especially Cassandra!!

Bought Groupon for two massages & completed my first visit in May 2017. The staff was very friendly & welcoming, as was the young massage therapist. However, the massage was not relaxing, as the therapist kept a nonstop dialogue going throughout the session. Massages should be relaxing with soft music & ambience. At least this has been my previous experiences. Will not return for the second massage, as the therapist needs to hone her skills.
