I used to be skeptical of chiropractors. However, after suffering a severe back injury and healing just barely well enough on my own to avert surgery, but never getting back to my standard of life before the injury I decided it was time to explore what a chiropractor could help me achieve. After having a poor experience at the first chiropractor I decided to try (I felt like I was being swindled and lied to), I swore off chiropractors for good. But months later I was still dealing with pain almost daily and decided I needed to try a new chiropractor. This time I made an appointment at Honest Chiropractic and the difference was night and day. From the pleasant way I was greeted upon entering, to the truly sincere and highly knowledgeable approach in which Dr. Gross consulted me as a patient, I felt that Honest Chiropractic cared about me getting better more than they cared about nickel and diming me on needless treatments and never-ending visitations that go nowhere (like my first guy). I truly think my back and shoulders were so messed up that they healed in the wrong manner. I was experiencing a new normal that did not feel very well at all. So after my first couple of visits to Honest Chiropractic, I left feeling slightly better but far from perfect. However, around my fourth Dr. Gross asked me how my annoying and nagging shoulder/arm pain was feeling. I thought about it and realized that I hadnt felt it in over a week. It was always so present in my life that I begrudgingly learned to live with it. So when Dr. Gross was able to relieve it, I didnt hit me until he asked about it. It was gone! And two weeks later I have not felt it since. I believe that after my injury and through the initial self-healing that my circuitry fused inappropriately. Dr. Gross was able to diagnose the trouble spots and basically rewire that circuitry. Like I said, the results didnt happen after one visit and I now realize that expectation was unreasonable. But the way Dr. Gross treated me with genuine concern for my pain and a desire to make me feel better (always with a goal in sight) kept me coming back long enough to realize the positive results after a small handful of visits. His treatment is financially economical. He explains everything clearly. He is upfront and truthful. I cant think of a better name for his practice than Honest Chiropractic. The way I see it, there are probably a lot of chiropractors that could have helped me to get better, but it was important to me to find one that I could trust. Dr. Gross is the real deal. My appointments have diminished in frequency now, but I will still be popping periodically because I love the way I feel and I desperately want to maintain that because at one point in time I did not think it was possible. I can wholeheartedly endorse Honest Chiropractic to the fullest extent.

My care with Dr. Gross at Honest Chiropractic has been life changing! Over 2 years ago I was diagnosed with what was thought to be Hip bursitis - first saw my PCP, then a sports medicine doctor, and completed 2 months of physical therapy, and then continued to do the PT exercises at home for months afterwards. I followed up with the sports medicine Dr about still being in pain, and his next recommendation was give it more time and if not better has surgery. I continued with the PT at home for month and even tried acupuncture for several sessions (which is expensive!) . 18 months after the initial "injury" and all the PT and other visits I was not even close to a full recovery and had pain daily. I hadnt thought to see a chiropractic sooner because my back didnt hurt but I knew I had to try something different and I felt very strongly that I didnt have hip bursitis for 18 months - and I knew surgery wasnt the answer. After a few visits with Dr. Gross, a hip injury was ruled out and he came to the conclusion that it was really my back that was the issue and has been working on my back since and Id say Im about 95% back to normal at this point. Before the "injury" I was able to run up to 4 miles, and after care with Dr. Gross, Im back to running again and have hit the 4 mile mark recently! Overall Im really impressed with Dr. Gross and the care I have received with him. Hes a very good listener and he cared about my goal of wanting to be health and being able to exercise again. He sets realistic goals for recovery, provided me with lots of exercises that wouldnt hurt my back, educated me on what exercises to stay away from so I can stay healthy. I see him every 2 weeks at this point for maintenance, especially while its running season. Hes also very flexible and reasonable when it comes to scheduling appointments and is understanding when Im running 5 mins late because I was stuck at work, or even if Im able to come 10 mins early. I would highly recommend him and have done so already. My best friend now sees him for maintenance care, and my husband started seeing him recently (as for back issues) and his pain has been improving greatly from what it was.

I had visited Dr. Gross last year after going to multiple other chiropractors for a chronic back problem. I can say that he helped me very much and my back pain and stiffness are now manageable on my own with proper stretching and exercises. It did take multiple sessions to get me back to normal. I do still go back occasionally for a "tune up". What I liked best about Dr. Gross was his back treatment and adjustments were done after a complete evaluation of my spine and were very customized to me. Other chiropractors I have been to had more of a "cookie cutter" type treatment. For years every time I bent over and touched my toes to stretch my back it was very painful to strand up straight again especially the last 10% of getting completely straight. After Dr. Gross treatments, even if my back feels stiff, there is no problem with bending over and straightening again, no pain. Its been many years since that was possible. I highly recommend Dr. Gross to anyone with a back problem. He is polite, thoughtful and has a great bedside manner so to speak. He is also very competent. Give him a try, you wont regret it.

They have been taking care of me since Thanksgiving of 14 when my back went out. After about two weeks of little improvement I was sent for xrays. These revealed a sprained siatic joint. They have taken such good care of me, as I healed I had less appointments. Dr. Vincent Gross is keenly aware of day to day tasks demanded of everyday people who dont get to stop and simply recover. If I had set back they have been there to get me back on track. They are very caring and open and incredibly easy to talk to.

Do not recommend. He misdiagnosed me and caused my pain to be a lot worse than what it was when I first went there. His "assistant" put the e-stim pads in the wrong location, and he didnt give me any information on aftercare (ice vs. heat, exercises, etc). He has some crazy chair that is supposed to be a massager (I guess), and it really hurt my back when he used it. He never checked on me to see if I was ok when I was using the chair. I will not ever go there again.
