We adopted a 10 year old beagle who came to us recovering from a bad yeast infection on his skin. Seeing signs that it might be coming back I tried for nearly 2 weeks to get an appointment with my regular vet who just couldnt spare time for a visit. Out of desperation I called West Manheim and upon hearing what was happening with the dog they offered to see me before noon (and this was on a Monday). Its amazing to me that a practice that Ive never been to would show such concern compared to a practice Ive been using for almost 10 years who couldnt be bothered. Ive now met both doctors and at least half of the staff; all very friendly and compassionate people. Im now transferring our other dog to this practice as well. I highly recommend these dedicated folks.

I accompanied a friends family and their dog to an appointment, and soon thereafter, to euthanize the pet. Dr. Applefield was extremely professional, empathic, and took time to explain the normal physiological events when an animal expires, to prevent additional stress on the family, as they lost their dog. The tech who assisted Dr. Applefield was caring, professional, and gave the family anything they requested. When I have another pet, I would use this business.

Dr. Tom has treated all of my pets (3 dogs and 3 cats) for at least the last 10 years! He has cured my one pet dog of a corneal ulcer AND an ACL repair, PLUS he has removed cancerous growths -- now my little guy is going on 12 years old, and he is happy and healthy in no small part due to Dr, Lyons! Dr. Lyons is an exceptional veterinarian / surgeon, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lyons is wonderful. He is so nice, knowledgeable, and HONEST. My boxer dog tore his ACL and Dr. Lyons did ACL repair surgery. My dog is back to normal, running and jumping. I am so grateful to him. He really is the best!
